No, /voixprêt doesn't work either (/voixprAet or something like that). Those commands have got an accent problem, for sure.
I've created personnal commands (S) which works well apparently

Hello !
I'm a French player, and this plugin is just fine !
But I have a little problem with sync play, it seems that this command is not working
Here is the answer i get when i click on sync play ;
/lire <fichier chanson> [index #] [sync]
(/read <file song> [index #] [sync])
Maybe because in the french version, sync is called synchro ?
EDIT : Also, the start sync play command doesn't work ; "/débutmusique" is replaced by "/d@ebutmusique".
|
Hi, thanks for letting me know. I thought 'sync' was also 'sync' in the French client, but if that's not the case then I have to correct that.
About the other issue, does ready check work since it also has an accent (/voirprêt)? It would make sense that it doesn't then work either. I have to check this anyway.

ok, well, reloading the library from outside works too, I just keep forgetting about doing that when I download new songs.
Nice app, very good!

Thanks, also misunderstood the question a bit. I was talking only about how to refresh the library inside the game. But in any case using songbook.hta is necessary outside the game first, no way around it at the moment.

Oh and by the way, your two plugins are the only ones I can get to work at the moment, so thumbs up for that as well.

is there a way to refresh the library from inside the game?

That has been on my todo list but I have been putting it off. Problem is that because of the built-in load delay (feature of the Lua API), it's much faster to unload and restart plugins (/plugins unload) than to reload the song library. There are some ways around it I suppose. But yes, I may have a go at this eventually .

Hi,
It's probably because there's something funny about the X: parameter inside the song file, or on the same line (X should be the song part/track number). Could you send your SongbookData.plugindata file to me, to chiran{at}theroadgoeson.org? I can then try to see what's going on there.

Hm, you could try deleting your Songbook settings and see if that helps. So, if you just delete this file:
Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\<lotrouser>\AllServers\SongbookS ettings.plugindata
Are you using a German or French client btw?

Thanks for the quick reply
Deleting the settings file worked. I am using the German client.
Nice new icon to enter the main window

Not exactly sure what the problem might be, but run the latest songbook.hta that came with the plugin first. Some data structures have changed.

Re: Re: songbook.hta

There is only one file you supply that set the directory for searches outside the game, if it was possible to change directories inside the game this wouldnt be such an issue and wouldnt need the .hta, using an editable config file (.cfg .ini etc) to set the default folder. That how I see it.
|
There's not much that can be done about it. The game client only sees music files that are in Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Music (and its subdirectories). That directory cannot be changed.
Furthermore, plugins themselves don't even see that. They can only read files under PluginData directory through very restricted programming interface.
