Fixed, and fixed. Thank you for pointing them out!
I like the changes, but I found some bugs.
- It still says "New Charicter" on the main screen.
- When you choose Historian, you get farmer, weaponsmith and prospector professions. Prospector should be Scholar.

Updated!
Sorry for the delay, but I think the new version will be more stable and function more predictably.

problems losing data
Much as I love the idea of this plugin, I wouldn't recommend using it yet. After you enter data it seems to have a tendency to disappear after a random period of time.

currently unmaintained
OK, I have to apologize to everyone I have recently lost internet access and have not been able to work on this project, it is still something I plan to finish however I do not know how long it will take until I am in a position to do so. would help if I could work on it without having to be in game. I will look into the bugs that have been found and will try to fix them as soon as I can.

Disasterous Bug!
Hi there, when I saw this plug-in i thought 'wow, thats exactly what I have been looking for'. So thumbs up for making it.
However, I have spent some considerable time inputting all the recipies from a profession into it, only to find that when you input recipies to another profession on the same character, it wipes all the other proffession!!! (ie on an Armourer - if you input all the data to the metalsmith proffesion, then input the data for the Tailor, all the Metalsmith data will be deleated!)
Unfortunatly I am not a programer and have no idea how to even begin to fix this. Please, please, please help. It will be great if it works properly.

Turbine.Utils
For any of you out there who are still having problems with this., I can tell you why its happening and how to fix it.
After the October update they changed the Turbine Lua files that most of these plugins require to function. No, there is no file named Turbine.utils because it either was in the old set of Lua files or (since I couldn't find it in those either) more likely was created and used in the background while you played.
Now the fix is easy, all you need is any simple text editor. I prefer Notepad+ but thats just me.
Open up each of the files in the plugins folder and right at the top it lists a bunch of files that it loads before starting the program. Just delete or comment out the line in each file that refers to "Turbine.utils"
Good hunting

Error when trying to Load Crafters
SandBox I get the following Error when trying to load Crafters
...f the Rings Online\Plugins\SandBox\Crafters\Main.lua:4: Unable to resolve package "Turbine.utils".
I don't know what this is looking for,as the Turbine Utilities package does not have a folder called utils, or a file called utils. I did find a file named MathUtils.lua and thats about it.
could you help me to get this working mate? I sure would like to use Crafters as I feel it would be helpful to me.
just to let you know I am new to LotRO plugins, I do have some experience from wow plugins,. not much though. Any help would be appreciated.
My other 2 plugins I am using "CTime" and "DailyTasks" work great.
Edit: Never mind, remove all dependencies to "Turbine.utils" seems to be working now, Didn't realize I'd have to enter every single thing into this...

...Rings Online\Plugins\SandBox\Crafters\CharWindow.lua:4: Unable to resolve package "Turbine.Utils".
...e Rings Online\Plugins\SandBox\Crafters\__init__.lua:1: Failed to import package "SandBox.Crafters.CharWindow".
...f the Rings Online\Plugins\SandBox\Crafters\Main.lua:1: Failed to import package "SandBox.Crafters".
Im getting these erros when I try to load this mod. I just pasted the Sandbox folder to \Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\Plugins, using windows 7 if that matters.
I don't know if I'm doing right thing here but if I rename the __init__.lua to init.lua I only get the last error
...f the Rings Online\Plugins\SandBox\Crafters\Main.lua:1: Unable to resolve package "SandBox.Crafters".

I am eagerly awaiting this! I haven't used your plugin as yet due to the time consumption of populating the list. I have 4 characters with 3 supreme tier crafts each and it would take me FOREVER to fill the lists. If all I had to do was click a check box next to the recipe it would be so much more useful to me.
Oh and an idea for your next project. There are a couple of plugins that can be used for notes, however, all of them are saved per character rather than server or even account. I have a lousy memory and sometimes when I switch to my bank toons I forget what it was I needed ... sigh, I guess I'm getting old. Anyway, it would be great to have a notepad that was shared between my characters and your shopping list is a good example. Maybe you could take that code and put it in it's own plugin?

taking a bit to get things coded correctly for the list, holidays and what not have slowed progress as for your second idea it would be easy to do, in fact you could make one small change to any of the notepad plugins to get it to save cross server (even across account if you wanted), just find the save/load commands and change the data scope to server or account (would already be user) I may create a notepad plugin for that but not sure what all features you would want, like how many pages, option for per character only, text coloring, etc. we will have to see.
EDIT: looking around and just found http://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info438-SimplyNotes.html which is a basic notepad for you.

Same for me. I really like the idea but I only hope there could be an easier way to populate the list. Even if I have to go through and click on each of my recipes to export them or something. I didn't have enough patience to manually type in all of the information. Oh, How about an in-game check list?
