I've made several changes with this update. The main enhancement is a new "Rep use" window, opened with "/dtw rep" where you can select which factions you want included in a rep-only (R-O) listing. I added this because when you have achieved kindred rep with a faction, there is no point in turning in tasks that advance rep with that faction (unless there are no alternative).

The other significant change is that I changed the folder structure of the plugin to make it compatible with with Plugin Compendium and remove the confusion that was caused by the "MyPlugins" folder. I also put the auto-open setting in the Plugin Manager Options tab to make it easier to find.

WARNING: If you are updating this plugin, you need to delete the old installation to prevent confusion when loading it.

The game said the version was correct but I uninstalled everything and performed a clean, new install and it seems to be working fine now.

It sounds like you have a previous version of DT that is getting loaded by mistake. Check the DT listing for the tasks at Galtrev; if they don't all show 10 items needed, then you are running an old copy.

"/dtc" only shows tasks for the current character. If you want to show completions for another character, select the name and filter in the DT window and use the button.

PS. If this is while on your level 54, there is an Lua inventory bug that sometimes doesn't let a plugin see recent additions to your inventory.

Using 2.8.4 but it doesn't seem to know the Rohan task items:

Having an interesting problem... I've got an alt (54) in Moria, and have 16 Polished Scales in my inventory. Dropping them into the drop-target yields:

DT: 16/10 [Polished Scale], 50-59 @ Chamber of the Crossroads(IG), 50-59 @ Dolven-view(IG), 50-59 @ Jazargund(IG), 50-59 @ The Deep Descent(IG), 50-59 @ The Rotting Cellar(IG) (Iarvorol)

as expected. However, if I type /dtc, I get

I suggest renaming your "myplugins" folder to something that actually makes sense for us, like "Vinny." After all, I might already have my own "myplugins" folder, except I named it "Vreejack" Also, forcing people to create a directory by hand will always cause problems. It seems silly when you could simply include it as part of the distribution, especially since that is what everyone else does. After screwing up installation the first time it wound up taking me half an hour to fix it. These things are supposed to take ten seconds.

It would be possible if someone with a German client took the time to translate the appropriate text strings. This would mostly be in the TD_Data file.

I checked very carefully, again and again.

Finally I realized I had the Daily Tasks folder in a folder named

My Plugins

instead of

MyPlugins

so be careful what you do, folks. It is a great plugin but the loading instructions are ... well ... unusual.

I had this same problem, came here, then searched for and found the readme file, then re-created the folder structure, and now it works.

Thanks so much for a very useful plugin. I had a big pile of Icky Filth that turned out to be completely useless! The barkeep at the Bird and Baby still gave me like 200 silver for it though. No idea what he's going to do with it.

This is a minor update that lowers the Great River maximum task level to 75, thanks to an alert from Chema_Cagi.
