Hi, Indeed this is my bad

I forgot to update the names in the description when I've changed them in the skin, this is now fixed

former _JRR Azure Glass *Basic* is now named _JRR Azure Glass Custom - Ultrawide Basic

_JRR Azure Glass *Basic*

For some reason, and I'm guessing this is user error, I can't for the life of me find this option in the listed UIs in the drop down menu.

I really would like to use that one so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

Unfortunately, this is a part of bugs the lotro devs introduced for no reason in the vital panel frame with update 33.1 and never spent one minute to reverse it...

If you try with the default skin you will see the same bugs and in addition the 3D portrait zoomed and not centered

You can bypass this issue by replacing the default portrait by an anniversary or the vip portrait by right clicking on your portrait.

Monster Play Elite Portrait

Hello, first i would like to say that i absolutely love the ultrawide basic skin, it's so clean compared to the default lotro that i cannot even imagine playing wihout it, however i recently came upon something that i'd say is "literally unplayable", when you get the elite status on your monster character, the elite border for some reason is under the actual panel instead of being on top (see image attached) while the opponent panel is fine. How can i fix this?

Hi, here is the naming chart I defined to rename the profiles, depending their toolbar :

universal = Uses the default toolbar panel code from lotro. It fits with any screen resolution.
Any theme name featuring this word can easily be used by anyone.

custom Indicates that the toolbar is designed using a custom toolbar panel code.
This unfortunately requires to manually edit its skindefinition.xml file with a text editor in order to fit the user's screen resolution (if it is different from the one used in the file).

Short = actually shortened toolbar using a custom toolbar panel code

Light = an universal toolbar visually shortened by turning invisible the side buttons.

wide = full length toolbar.

utrawide = extra length toolbar.


Name changes :


azure glass Basic => Custom - Ultrawide Basic

azure glass "universal" => Wide universal toolbar

azure glass 1x1 BGM => Custom short BGM

azure glass 1x1 => Custom wide

azure glass 1x2 => Custom ultrawide 1 stage

azure glass 2x2 => Custom ultrawide 2 stages

azure glass 3x2 => Custom ultrawide 3 stages

new profile : Custom short BGM NRG bar

- Added a 8th toolbar profile : BGM custom short with energy meter bar (which I called previously efficiency meter bar).

- Changed the naming of each theme profile, this means :
You must delete the previous Azure Glass installation folder before installing this new version.
You will have to re-select your chosen skin on each of your characters.

Don't forget the panel customizations (including toolbar) will be applied only after the next log of your character.

Hi, otherwise you can disable "3D portait" in ingame options to avoid this bug untill the devs fix it between now and ever.

EDIT : I added solutions for this issue in the FAQ.

Ah, it appears it happens if you have the "Vitals" UI element set to anything other than 1.0, like the toolbar. Okies, problem solved

Visual Portrait bug

Hey there! Awesome UI skin I'm having an issue (I play at 3440x1440 resolution) where whenever I change zones / instances, etc. my animated portrait in the "vitals" area starts to get bigger and zoom in. I've edited the .xml so all the toolbars and whatnot are in the right place, it's just this issue with the portrait. Any ideas?

I've attached a picture of it after zoning once so you can see. It starts out by fitting in the little blue circle, then gets bigger with each instance change, growing to the bottom right.

Ah, now I understand. I still like the ability to see progress even though it might not be 100%. The animation isn't important enough to me to break the skin. Again, love the skin and appreciate you keeping it up to date.

As you can see this entire section was commented out for some reason or by mistake. Moving the --> at the end next to </Mapping> back up to the top of the section, un-comments it out and it works perfectly.
