Starting with an empty Plugins folder, I only installed "BuffMonitor with Quickslots", which only has the one dependency: "BuffMonitor".

However, it kept the BuffMonitor.plugin file from "BuffMonitor" rather than overwriting it with the one in the patch.

All of the other files in the patch successfully overwrote the files in the original plugin.

Not a big deal, but it does seem to be an unexpected behavior.

Guessing it might be the order in which the dependencies were installed. if you delete both and reinstall. if you watch status bar you should be able to see which is being installed as it goes. Perhaps the older file is getting installed overtop yours. W/o lookin at the code, hard to say. I'll flag it as something I look at in near future.

Thanks, it worked, except...

I tried to overwrite the BuffMonitor.plugin file by including it in my patch, but the file wasn't overwritten. (I wanted to add a note to the end of the description about the plugin being patched.) Is this intentionally restricted by Plugin Compendium?

Hi lunarwtr,

I'm attempting to add Plugin Compendium support for a patch: BuffMonitor with Quickslots. I added the original BuffMonitor as a dependancy in the .plugincompendium file.

Haven't tried this before, so please advise if I screwed it up.

<Id></Id> <--- this is blank (should be 1127)

... then the Info Url & Download Url are wrong.
