ODS to Excel Converter

Awesome tracker!

For what it's worth, this converter seemed to work for me:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/odf-converter/

It took a good 10 minutes, but it eventually came up in Excel and seems to be working. I was also able to save it as an Excel workbook and everything still works.

Thanks for adding those Hunter titles so quickly!

Just FYI, I dug a little and found out where they came from, in case you want to include it in the notes:

Swift Arrow: completion of the Lvl 15 quest "The Hunter's Path"
Earthborn: completion of the Lvl 30 quest "A Hunter's Charge"

There are probably others at higher levels, and must be equivalents for the other classes.

Now if only this thing included quests...and ran on an iPad...and......

You're awesome, thank you!
Thank you for this info - I'll add it to the notes with next update - and I'll have to check if other classes get specific titles as well I know minstrels and LMs get some class-specific titles (Mentor of Song, etc.) that are included, but ones from early class quests aren't. So thanks again

Re: missing titles

Just starting using this and love it! As I was going through checking all of the boxes, I noticed a couple of titles on my hunter that I can't find anywhere in the spreadsheet:

Earthborn - Your aptitude in Hunter skills has been recognized by your peers.

Swift Arrow - Your developing Hunter talents have been recognized by your peers.

Not sure where these came from.... As a completionist though, I really, really want to check boxes for them.
I wasn't aware of these titles - I will include them with the next update Thanks.

Also, I noticed that a few of the titles are organized under different sections in the spreadsheet vs. the game - namely Go-Getter and Up-and-Comer, and presumably the later task completion titles that I don't yet have. They're under Quest in the game, but Social in the spreadsheet. Not a big deal, it just makes it easier to enter when you can go section-by-section.
Thanks - one of the only places that I have changed the sheet compared to the in-game log is the Deed - Class/Race/Epic part - simply to give a better overview than the game does. However, you are correct that the Title part is indeed placed under Quests and not Social (even though the deeds are under Social) so I will move them with next update, thanks

Last thing - I was a little confused by the Ettenmoors being pulled out as a separate tab in the spreadsheet...up until that point it followed the game UI exactly. Only took a minute to realize what you had done, but...I'm not sure I see the reason for it.
This was due to popular demand. A lot of "completionists" wanted an overview of the deeds separate from the PvMP ones since the majority don't bother with those deeds.

Hope the feedback helps...as I said, I love what you've built! Thanks a ton! Maybe someday I'll be bored enough to write a UI/database version of the tool to avoid the OpenOffice vs. Excel issue altogether and make things easier and more powerful at the same time...probably not though, I'll be too busy trying to get all of the boxes checked for all of my alts. :P
Thank you for the feedback. It's always much appreciated

OMG, someone as crazy as i am. You did it, you're my hero

I'm french but i'm a noob with calc ou excel. Is there a simply way to translate it in french? I can help you, i have listed all of the deeds in french for myself since 3 years...
Happy to know there are other nuts out there like myself

Unfortunately, I can't translate it to French, as the future updating won't work on them and therefore makes them unusable as soon as a new update comes to the tracker, sorry.

A question for you Whiteberry... any chance of this being ported to Excel? I would love to try this out since I am both a completionist and an altoholic which makes keeping track of all this enormously difficult, but having two offices on my system just doesn't appeal to me. I use Excel extensively and would luv to see this ported.
Making both an OO and Excel version was something I considered and tried out extensively, but decided only to do in Open Office despite knowing that some would not use the tracker because of it. It is unlikely that I will make an Excel version in the near future.

The main reason is that the maintenance is easier in Open Office alone (that's the short version). For one thing, it would be much more work for me to update automatically to a new version if I had both OO and Excel versions. If I made an Excel version I'd get a lot of heat for not making it updatable, so I am not

Or just do what I do and call them MIN, LRM, HNT! Most people don't tend to have more than one of the same class, at least when it comes to characters they care about deeding on.
Maybe most don't, but some, like me, are altoholics and DO have multiple characters of the same class. As for your last statement about caring about deeding on, notice the name of the program - Berrys COMPLETIONIST Tracker. Any true completionist wants everything complete, nice and tidy, and NOT having that drives them crazy (or at least makes them uncomfortable and unhappy) and that encompasses their alts too.

I like this, but I wish that it wasn't hard-coded to only let me put in three char for a name. I have several that start with Uth, so that can make it a challenge to break it down.

Is there a reason that it's hard-coded that way, along with not being able to change the size of cells? I'm working on a 27" monitor, so screen real estate is not an issue for me.
Thank you. There is a reason for this. The limit of 3 letters, as you probably guessed, is simply to keep them from cluttering into other cells in the following sheets.

When I lock a spreadsheet, I automatically lock the column/row sizes along with the sheets, which is why it happens. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind keeping them re-sizable. This could probably be fixed by programming something into the sheet, but I don't have the skill for that

My conclusion when I first thought of this problem was that most will be able to find a 3 letter combination that describes their alts, even if they start with the same letters. Fx Frobar, Frokar, Frodar would be labelled bar, kar and dar.
