Description
What this add on does it makes the menu buttons on top of the screen instead on the side of the main toolbar,this is so you can have room for chat box on both sides.

See screenshot for example.

This addon will work on all the color for B.G.M V-3.1 and up.

====================== REALEASE NOTES ================================================== =============================

Version 0.93 March 5 2010

Fixed the dimension size of the toolbar skin,before it was set at 1922x1080 which caused
the icon's to be blurry a bit,sorry about this.

I also updated the code to reflect the change,it's a minor tweak which I subtracted by 1 for the menu buttons position and the toolbar
button with the xp etc.

It should be now set to 1920x1080 and the buttons should no longer be blurry.

I apologize for the inconvenience,sorry.

========================= LAYOUT INFO ================================================== ===============================

I also provide a layout to load in your character.

Drop the layout folder to the ui folder example in vista:

C:\Users\Brygard\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui

Once ingame type /ui layout load bry1

You may have to type it 2 times for it to work properly due to Turbine's engine.

The info is under step 2 but here's a recap:

Look for the the code example:

<Element ID="AutoAttackIndicatorButton" X="931" Y="42" Width="63" Height="63"> </Element> <!-- Attack button image background-->
<Element ID="ViolentModeIndicator" X="931" Y="42" Width="63" Height="63"> </Element> <!--The circle attack animation button-->

If you want to move the attack button somewhere else you need to edit the X value and Y value only.

Higher value on the X will make thing go right side,higher value on the Y will make things go down side of the screen.

As for the focus and such look for:

<Element ID="Gameplay_AtunementUI" X="917" Y="23" Width="88" Height="60"> <!--Runekeeper's Mini Circular Attunement Bar-->

or

<Element ID="GamePlay_FervorPipDisplay" X="917" Y="24" Width="90" Height="42"> </Element> <!--Champions Fervor Bars-->
<Element ID="GamePlay_AimPipDisplay" X="917" Y="24" Width="90" Height="42"> </Element> <!--Hunter's Focus Bar-->

As you can see,each code in the end has a mini info to what that code belongs to.

P.S
Thanks for the comment.

2 response:Edit #3

Krob189:
My game didn't detect the 1440x900 for some reason so I skipped that for the moement,think I have to make a custom resolution in my video card profile.

I will see what I can do and thanks for the comment.

Edit:
I manage to get the resolution by manually stretching the windows mode,I couldn't do it normally but it seems to work based on the screenshot resolution.

Now I just need to moved the buttons in thier location correctly.
PiC:

Edit #3
Ok I finish and have uploaded,it will be available when approved by mods.

Since I did it on based in windows mode,let me know if any errors and I will try to fix it but should be ok as it is.
================================================== ========

Thayilis:
The instructions is on the read in the step 2 folder:
Recap:
Tip about the auto attack button:

If you want to remove the attack button off along with the animation,you will need to set the width and height to value of 1.

Look for the the code example:

<Element ID="AutoAttackIndicatorButton" X="931" Y="42" Width="63" Height="63"> </Element> <!-- Attack button image background-->
<Element ID="ViolentModeIndicator" X="931" Y="42" Width="63" Height="63"> </Element> <!--The circle attack animation button-->

If you want to move the attack button somewhere else you need to edit the X value and Y value only.

Higher value on the X will make thing go right side,higher value on the Y will make things go down side of the screen.

P.s:
For some reason I seem to upload a wrong resolution for this,actually its 2 pixel higher it's 1922x1080,I will fix this and sorry about this.

P.P.S
I'm still have few more resolution to release but at the moment I got tired and wanted to play a bit of lotro.

Krob, there is an option in your in game options under UI settings. If you look towards the bottom you should see a button that says "Default UI" if you click on it, it will revert the UI to Turbines standard look. If you adjusted your actual UI settings at all (by hitting CTRL + \) then you may have to re-adjust that yourself. I'm not sure of anyway to reset those.

On a side note. Bry, I was curious how I would go about moving the auto attack bar that is at the top of the screen. I really enjoy all the work you have done and this minimalistic version of your already great UI is fantastic but I'm just not a big fan of having too much stuff at the top of my screen lol.

Thanks in advance!

God I love this. My only problem is you have made one for what seems every resolution but 1440x900.. please can you release this for that resolution! I love your B.G.M Red theme and this just completes it!

Also not realizing this was a bigger resolution than I was using I loaded this Setup and now I can't revert my settings Is there anyway to change back to default for the time being.

Full screen mode to windows ode and back to full scre will retain the UI panels size:

Today I discover something with the way I edit the toolbar image.

I hate it when sometimes I can't alt+tab the game to look something in the web so I use the other command the alt+enter to force the game in window mode.

Well today I discovered that when you use the alt+enter to go to windows mode and when you do it again you go back to full screen.

Normally when you use the toolbar code and use the window mode all the ui elements gets out of place when you go back to full screen.

Well the way I have edit the toolbar skin has made it that all the ui elements fall in the correct place when switch back to full screen.

Another words you can go to windows mode then back to full screen mode and all the ui elemnts will still retain its position again with out you have to log out the game.

This is pretty cool.

But you should note that when you go to windows mode the main toolbar gets shrinked,but when you go back to full screen mode the toolbar will fall
back in place correctly.

I did some test on my end it works every time.

I even tested by shrinking the windows to aroun 800x600 size and then alt+enter to go to full screen and the ui will fall back in place correctly and I do mean everthing provided you don't move any of the UI panels while in windows mode.

Please test it on your side and let me know if it works for you too.

Update info #2,#3 and #4 Feb 25 2010

Ok didn't have time yesterday to work some more on it but today work on in abit.

I be moving the menu buttons smack in the middle top part with some background image to go with it.

I have some ideas to add some background image for the HuD to certain location of the screen HuD.

For example I be making a background image for the quest tracker box that some people wanted but there's a catch.

The background image is static and cant be moved around,I will provide image for left side user and right side users as possible.

Also you must note that each screen resolution wont have all the features that the higher resolution have due the screen size space.

As always,I try to provide invisible buttons as well for those that don't want any thing else but the xp bar and or the main toolbar only for minimal look.

Pic W.I.P concept idea:

Note:
I couldn't find the code for the dock buttons so they could be moved,due to this when you use this add on mod you will need to undock the quickslot buttons in your optional panel.

Edit info #3:
I decided to release each resolution in separate zip pack due to increase in file size that I planning to add different style HuD for each resolutions.

This way you can just download the resolution of your screen instead of download a big file size pack for to use a particular size.

The first release will be the 1920x1080 first then I will work on to lower resolution and so on.

Also due time I have and this way you don't have to wait for long to use my HuD for users of 1920x1080.

Pic update with new menu buttons background image:

Edit #4:
Concept idea based on Daimon design HuD for chat.

Mini toolbar update info:

Ok,I finally found an alternative work around for the buttons to be on top screen.

It seems Turbine somehow change the way the toolbar can be moved as one unit as before S.o.M.

Now I have to do some extra steps to make it work as before.

First I have to create a new dimension toolbar skin so the bottom toolbar can be stayed at bottom side instead of mid screen.

That means I have to create new dimension toolbar skin for different resolution size etc.

The following code used to work:

<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="0" Y="0" Width="1920" Height="1080">

but now seems broken to me,the x=value used to make the whole toolbar moved left or right while the Y=value use to move it up and down but no longer working.

Only the width and height works and this deals with the dimesion size of the skin toolbar tga.

As stated I had to come up with a work around and it seems I finally found one today.

Preview Pic W.I.P:

Also you need to note that when I release the new update,you will need to play it in fullscreen mode instead of window mode.

Let me clarify,there a known issue where you switch full screen and windows mode it will make the toolbar buttons mid screen instead being bottom also it make the buttons blurry due to new dimension toolbar skin.

This out of my control and also a know issue.

But you can play in window mode longest is a lower resolution size and using the right skin toolbar for it.

Example:
My lcd screen size is at 1920x1080 but I'm playing lotro in windows mode in 1280x720,this can be done you just need to use the skin toolbar for 1280x720 and the code with it also you have to be precise with the screen size of window mode.

You can not how ever play in windows mode in 1920x1080 due to the borders
of the window mode thickness,your actually be playing around 1915x1070 or so and this will cause the skin toolbar and buttons to blur.

Also there's a known problem when alt tabbing,the buttons will be out of place as well it will blur them.

Well this all the info I have for now.

P.s
Now I will include a 1920x1080 dimension for the pack.

P.P.S
I forgot to mention that I will be renaming this option pak to B.G.M HuD Mix.

This is due to that you can no longer moved the toolbar normally and it is recommended that you don't mess with the toolbar code,but you can how ever mess with the buttons locations,fervor bars,attack buttons etc just not the main toolbar.

So this why the name change cause it no longer applies.

Once I finish with this HuD,I be making HuD corresponded by the user who have submitted their code and ideas in a separate pack.

For example:
I have received code and ideas from percman,the zip pack will be named:
"B.G.M Percman's HuD"

This way I can give credit to the user who have sent me ideas and code for the toolbar hud.

Also this will be in set in addon's list,so they be downloaded separately,this way to keep the zip small file size for users who have limited bandwith.

Yes,sorry this taking so long to update my UI's.
This month been busy for me,have been reinstalling quite abit of customers PC and doing other work for money.

Currently I just uploaded the Red B.G.M and will upload a patch for the blue while uploading the new version of the blue to 3.1 for those that haven't download the 3.0.

The patch for the blue is minimal size and its to be use for the blue version 3.0 only.

Once I finish with the other two colors I will look at the mini toolbar and update those also I will need to figure out how to chop the code so I don't have to copy the whole code that are not necessary to use and after that the dressing room and so on.
