About

BigPack is derived from TheOneBag. In addition to this plugin BigPack offers a search bar, two different display modes, a means to resize the window and a wrapper plugin to workarround the yet not fixed inventory plugins issue.

Getting started

Install the plugin into your Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins folder.

In game load the plugin by typing /plugins load bigpackwrapper. The main plugin is automatically loaded when you open your inventory (e.g. push <i>) and unloaded once you close the window.

So, do not load the bigpack plugin, but the bigpackwrapper instead.

Usage

Resize the window by dragging the lower right corner
Switch display mode with the mini checkbox
Search your inventory (hit <return> or right click to reset the search string)

Known Limitations

Due to the still unfixed inventory plugin issue your inventory will get out of sync (simply reopen your inventory to work arround this)
Search strings will not be stored when you close and reopen the bagpack
Closing the window with the close button will only hide the window instead of unload the plugin. You need to hit your inventory key twice to bring it back.

This plugin is working fine for me. No crashes after ROI Update 1 (which patched the Lua inventory API bug). I played all day yesterday and not a single crash.

I agree if a sort feature were added this would be boss, and as well, does anyone know if the inventory window is persistent? ie stays on top of other windows? the whole reason i like hugebag is because when i am posting things for auction i don't have to close and open the inventory every dern item because the window popped behind the auction panel to hide

Another bug

I found another bug on the option, when you set the opacity (/bp opacity 0,5 for exemple) it doesn't stay when you put your mouse on, it turns to opacity 1 then stay like that.

Well, I think accents can be used in the same way like the german umlauts by using the corresponding utf8 codes. E.g.:

I did not put some accent beacuse the game does't accept those.
The space for "Search" is really short cause you translate it by "Rechercher" in french, need more space or keep "Search".

Very nice! I'm all for workarounds to Turbine limitations! This plugin would be even better if you were able to add sorting functionality similar to the HugeBag plugin. Even so, very nice work!
