New Tubine package was released today. Pluginmanager no longer works with it. /cry

after reviewing the source, seems the new framework does not like the 'base' portion of window.lua at line 99.

Just downloaded 0.4 and overwrote my old version... but getting errors in game that the plugin couldn't be started.

Is there some sort of debug log I can send you to tell you what's wrong?

This is by FAR my favourite plugin and I'd be crushed if I can't use it any more!

ETA: I should also add, I downloaded all of the updated libraries from Turbine, too.

plugin ordering?

Great plugin, very handy (well, it was, read below). I'm wondering if you could implement a method of setting an order on the loading of the plugins, though.

This plugin was making life so much easier for me, really handy since we can't autoload plugins at game start... but now that they're change the event handling, and some plugins tromp on others if they're loaded after, it would be nice to be able to control in which order they get loaded.

In my particular case, I'd like TonicBars to load first and BuffBars to load after everything else since it's been documented that TonicBars and BuffBars don't cooperate if TonicBars loads first. Since you seem to load the plugins in alphabetical order (which would normally make sense) I can't currently use your plugin unless I'm willing to give one of the two up.

It looks like TonicBars hasn't been updated to play nice with other plugins

you should suggest to NuclearTonic to update events under LocalPlayer

I am not aware of this issue? what's happening? I don't really use any other plugins other than my bars... The only interaction problem I have heard is that TonicBars displays beneath BuffBars due to z-ordering issues.

BuffBars load last

I have the same problem if I load BuffBars before any other. Like a previous poster said it would be nice to sort the plugins in any load order. All I do right now is not to load BuffBars using PluginManager. then I load BuffBars manually last and it works fine.

One feature that would be incredibly useful with plugin packs:

A mechanism where PluginManager would read from an easily editable file to load plugins if it does not detect PluginManager save data, with necessary safeguards in place to prevent loading a plugin that's not there.

Wink Re: Finally learned how to create a button to launch manager

I just wanted to bump this up, as its very handy.

Hated having to to type the command to launch my plugins every time I logged in, I asked and askd, but no one could tell me how to make a macro button to do it. So here it is, hope it makes you game play more enjoyable.

/shortcut 49 /plugins load manager

The 49 can be the number of any of the shortcut bar boxes, alot of mine were full so I put it in the first box of row 4....

Good Luck and Good Hunting to you!

Update for 'nil value' error?

Edit: Cearbhall's response above has got me back up and running, thanks for the quick reply. Although the overwriting didn't seem to work, a complete deletion of all plugin folders and fresh downloads did do the job. Very happy to have Pluginmanager back

Great Plugin.

Definitely missing it since it no longer installs...

Exact error messages:
...of the Rings Online\Plugins\Shady\Manager\window.lua:99: attempt to index field 'base' (a nil value)
... the Rings Online\Plugins\Shady\Manager\__init__.lua:27: Failed to import package "Shady.Manager.window".
Unable to load "manager".

This is with latest version of PluginManager04 and latest turbine packages and no other plugin installed.

Any news on an update or fix?

if you're getting an error about "base" in window.lua
it means that you're not using 0.4

make sure when you extract the zip it overwrites the old files
or delete the Manager folder first
