Mini

I also love the mini interface. If you could make the targets mouse over buff/debuffs work and allow them to be in different rows (new option allows buffs and debuffs to appear in different rows) it would be perfect.

i really like this interface, it looks like it should make the game even more fun, by efficiently placing what you need, and minimizing clutter. but as you can see from my SS nothing seems to place itself correctly for me, this is the same in all versions of the daimon ui, i have tried resetting everything, and the default ui works, but no other ui does, i am still using it, tho it would be really nice if it worked correctly, and i using 1680x1050 so your default stting should be ok, but are not.

i moved the mini map and quest tracker myself, but i dont know how to move the other things, such as the moria arch and the inventory buttons, can you help me correct this?

Hi! Ok, I tried this UI on my 1280*1024 screen, but had an epic fail with changing UIs.
Well, it seems to me that the problem with windows and bars positioning is exactly in erroneous transcription of xml-file. Stop me if I'm not right! I did relogin and even reboot several times but nothing changed. Bag and Menu buttons are all like on their old (default) positions and only seen when OnMouseOver... And the toolbar background is located incorrectly also. So, it looks like the same IceTiger's problem! What it is supposed to be? Is it only my problem or is it widespread on 4:3 monitors? I like this UI much, but unfortunately can't use it... =( Could you be of any help with that? Thanx in advance...

Hey, I'm new to LotRO. (Coming from WoW which is addon heavy)

I downloaded your skin and switched it to the 1920x1200 resolution that I use, but the portrait/unit frames are still in the normal spot. they don't move.

Any help?

I play LotRO on Russian servers and I have the same problem as Dervish and IceTiger. I've tried different UI's with floating toolbar - same thing.
It seems, that all section about toolbar in SkinDefinition.xml is not parsed py the game client. I can't see any other reason.

Sarville & Dervish: Only time I have seen that happen (IceTiger's picture) is when you switch from a skin that has different x and y values for things like the mainbar, vitals etc than the other skin had. Your description fits this perfectly Dervish as you said the bags and buttons stay in their original positions. Having 4:3 monitor should not affect at all as only width of the resolution can be a problem with the UI (if you are suspicious because the y value is so high dont worry about it, lotro client has code that keep the UI elements inside the given resolution (=overflowing is prevented). So I can only suggest that you do the following:

Select a skin from the dropdown box (this is when your UI looks like the pictures in IceTiger's post below).
Accept the changes before logging out.
Log out (or exit the game), re-enter and the UI should work correctly.
Remember that all your toons have seperate settings so if change something from your toon settings it might not affect your other toon at all.

babyboom: whoa. that happens when files are not in the correct locations or they are missing. I see that you got the pink version of the mainbar working however. So..

Did you download my patch only
or did you download Liftedplane's modification of my UI ?

The patch has only the mainbar file I see in your screencapture and doesn't include any other files (meaning you need to download the full skin first then update it with the patch).

If you used Liftedplane's version please inform him.

I've tried a lot of times to change exactly as u describe, but nothing happened. Everything's still on its positions. And u know what - the same trouble is with the rest of the interfaces, which use non-standart background and buttons positions - everything disordered. Tried several time to apply, to reboot, to apply again, to reboot again, etc...
Seems like this is the problem with RU Servers, but I have no idea if my opinion is correct and definitely don't know how to fix it

Dervish: Might be that it has to do with RUS servers then though I thought you guys use the same client as rest of the europe.. who knows.. I have no other solution to give how ever, I'm sorry :/

Well, this seems to be a prob! But! As you can see on IceTiger's screenshots (I just imagine I never noticed that before), that he has the same problem on NON-Rus server!! Perhaps EU or US because of language, right? Any idea?

so i have been playing for a couple of days with this skin... it is really great... will you add more diferent colours and background pictures... like in before MoM times...

p.s. i play on 1280x1024... and main toolbar (not quickslot bar) is a bit smaller than 1 around 0.95... is there a way i can fix it in the script or something... (in UI it says it is 1.00 but it is abit smaller then that)
