Ah yes, I accidentally left a reference to another library in there. Please download version 1.07 as soon as it gets uploaded and approved, the extra library reference has been removed. Sorry about that.

Nice Plugin

I like it. Don't know if anyone else has asked this but: is there any possibility of something similar for what is stored in vaults? That would be majorly awesome if so. Just a thought.

Still a good app. Nice way of knowing what my other alts have on hand, thanks!

Vault data is not currently exposed to the LUA interface. As soon as it is, I will be adding that to Alt Inventory (as well as equipped items and shared storage and house storage if they are ever exposed).

Thanks for the feedback

Re: Re: Nice Plugin

Here is hoping they allow that. Knowing what is in both vaults would be so nice, especially since both alts use metal for crafting and share resources.

any idea what's up with this mess? liking this plugin so far just hoping im not going crazy. Plus would be nice to be able to search for items via a keyword search. please and thank you for any help.

Also noticed insane lag from using this plugin. must be taking a nasty hit every time i loot a item.

Latest ver - get this on very first load for a char:

...ings Online\Plugins\GaranStuff\AltInventory\Main.lua:12 56: attempt to get length of field '?' (a nil value)

Then have to unload, and it works from 2nd load onwards.

yeah same, insane lag on looting. So I only turn it on when i need to see what alts have.

Kaisoul, a search function is planned, but got delayed due to work on another project. I will probably get back to that in a couple weeks.

EDIT: The "new character" bug has been located and doused with Raid. I believe I have also come up with a solution that will eliminate most of the lag (there may be a tiny hitch for tracked items) as long as the inventory window isn't displayed while looting. So as long as you aren't running around with the window open all the time (the plugin can be loaded, just not displayed), the lag should no longer be an issue. This is a short term solution until the ItemRemoved() bug gets fixed by Turbine, then I should be able to fix the lag even when the window is open. I will be testing this some more, but look for an update in a day or so.

Can't click on Icon

I dragged the icon to the very upper left location on my screen, and now when I click on it nothing happens ( I have moved everything out of the way, character stas, etc ). It will not open the window, nor can I click+hold and drag it anywhere. Love the Plugin, very handy to see what my alts have.

You've somehow dragged it to a location where it is under something that apparently is transparent and can not be moved but which is preventing the icon from getting mouse interaction. I'm not sure what is at that location, but the only way to fix this is to unload the plugin, go into the settings file and edit the location settings. The settings file is found in your "My Documents" folder. There is a folder with your character name under the "The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData". In that folder, find the server name folder, and in that folder, find the character name folder. There is a file named "AltInventorySettings.plugindata". Edit this file with notepad or other plain text editor. In this file you will see a bunch of entries in the form:
Code:
 [4.000000] =
 {
  [1.000000] = "MWTop",
  [2.000000] = 709.000000
 },
 [5.000000] =
 {
  [1.000000] = "MWLeft",
  [2.000000] = 1158.000000
 },
The ones you are interested in are the MWTop and MWLeft values. change the values (in the example above MWTop=709.000000 and MWLeft=1158.000000) to something like 400 each, that will cause the min window to load further down and to the right of the screen and you will be able to interact with it again. Or you can simply delete the entire file which will set all of the settings back to their defaults.

Is it possible to add more tabs in the Item Tracker? Maybe with an option to rename them and toggle Self/All.

If you are looking for a way to seperate different types of items, I will be adding a category filter and a name filter to help organize tracked items. However, I probably won't be updating Alt Inventory until the November patch fixes the Item:GetCategory() method so this won't be available for a couple of weeks.

A filter might help also. I'm looking forward to future updates.
