Hi Thurallor,

1/ New
- Deleting only the sequencebars.plugindata gave weird results. Had to delete complete folder.
- Mixing conditionnals AND delays are weird also, I prefer trying simple things that works ATM.
-Could translate in french if you give me the list of words; to be followed.

Hi Thurallor,

Pfff, done from sratch all my combat sequences again and I got a backup prog. Have still to test them in real conditions.
Some questions for warden if I can:

1/Imported the whole warden set of seq and gambits and it slows my machine. Would like to export subgroup(s) and delete what I don't use.
Q: What is the name of the export(s) and its location if I need to import again?

2/Wanted to play with the new conditionnal possibilities.
Q: I don't see Traits conditions (Blue, red or yellow line), is it available? Because if I test specific conditions in blue traits, it blanks in red (not present); aka shield tactics or mastery...

Still have problems (missing some clics) with the delays so I prefer to double problematic actions, so if 1st clic misses, 2nd doesn't.

I can try to help for the french translation if you can provide a list of words or sentences to translate...

In my observation, having a large number of bars will only affect performance if they are visible on the screen. If you hide the "Warden Skills" group (thus hiding all of the bars within it) performance should go back to normal. The root cause of the issue seems to be that it takes a lot of time to draw the "cooldown" animation on all of the icons, every time you use a skill. Since in the warden gambit sequences there are hundreds (if not thousands) of copies of the three gambit builder skills, the game has a hard time animating all of those icons every time you click one of the gambit builders. But if you hide the bars, it doesn't have to animate them.

When you export a group (or bar) it opens a window containing compressed data. You can copy the data to the clipboard with Ctrl+C and save it in a text file with Notepad.

There is no way for a Lua plugin to directly detect trait conditions. However, it may be possible to indirectly detect them; I will put some thought into this.

Hi Thurallor,

Some good news.

1/ Slowing machine: it seems it was improved after emptying the SQ trash ( 4/5 seq).

2/ I succeeded in exporting and importing once other problems resolved. I had trouble again and time consuming opening or closing the game. I tried without other plug-ins and finally pinned down Combat analysis. It was related to the french rev (4.16). The new rev (4.46) has a Fr locale and all is better and smooth now.

3/ I'll watch for conditional related to traits.

4/ I still have missed clicks, is it related to high latency (I'm in South pacific) or aging graphic card ( I have had to lower presets for Minas Tirith) ? I don't know.
So I usually double the final click of a chain inside conditional when possible.

Beside that all is fine

Thank you!

This is the best plugin I have ever installed. I play warden and even though I don't care much for using it on gambit rotations, I find it very helpful when I need to switch my gear. Switching between tank and dps takes certain time to go through your bags and make sure you have equipped all the correct pieces of jewelry, armour, LI's, shield and class item. With this plugin I am able to switch roles just by spamming mouse clicks.

There are no words to express how satisfied I am. I have been using many plugins for years, and now I only registered to this site to be able to reply to this thread with a big THANK YOU.

Questions

Hi Thurallor,

2 questions if I may:

1/Concerning the execution speed of animation, very slow is ok (2/3s) but slow is nearly as quick as instantaneous; is it on purpose?

2/ Conditional, I can't nest 3 if conditions for my guardian;
- what works (I tried to transpose the visual scripting with signs):
{if/ skill is ready/ catch a breath [catch a breath(CAB)] else {if/ skill is ready/ honorable combat [honorable combat(HC)] else [warrior heart(WH)]
I do have CAB or if unavailable HC or WH to click
-but if I add at the beginning {if/ morale/ <85% it bugs: always available or freezes the game
-What I want to do is
If morale is under 85%, use CAB or if unavailable use HC, or if unavailable use WH
Any thoughts?

Regarding missed clicks, freezing, etc: If you export the bars you're having a problem with, and send them to me in a PM, I will look at them. It's possible there is a bug. (I did a brief test with three nested conditionals, and it worked fine for me.)

Currently, the "animation time" for the various speed options are: 0 (instantanteous), 0.05 s (fast), 0.1 s (slow), and 0.5 s (very slow). These are somewhat arbitrary. There is nothing to prevent adding more options, but I didn't think anyone would want it to take longer than 0.5 s to scroll to the next slot. On my machine, there are very obvious differences between the choices. However, if you have a slower machine (or more plugins running), the display will update less often, and "fast" may be indistinguishable from "instantaneous".

Unhappy Bar.lua:1145: attempt to compare number with nil

After an extensive session of building, reconfiguring and tweaking my plugin set up, one of my newer 'seq.bars' stopped (visually) updating as changes were being made to it within the "Edit Sequence" window. So now when I try unloading then reloading this plugin, or have it automatically load, that is the error that I see:

Thanks for reporting the error. I intend to release a new version with bug fixes in the next couple of days. If you export that bar and send it to me in a PM (or better yet, just send me your SequenceBars.plugindata file) it will help me to isolate the problem. For now, please make a backup of your SequenceBars.plugindata file, and then delete the broken bar (if you can).

Edit: Also, please try with version 2.21. I fixed a stack overflow bug that may or may not be related to your problem.

Error message

Hi Thurallor,

since the last biger update (could have been on tuesday or wednesday) I keep getting the following error message:
"... Rings Online\Plugins\Thurallor\SequenceBars\Bar.lua:740: attempt to index field 'optionsPanel' (a nil value)"

Edit: When unloading and reloading plugin I receive the following error:
"... Rings Online\Plugins\Thurallor\SequenceBars\Bar.lua:1145 : attempt to compare number with nil"

Also at startup only 3 bars (out of roughly 15-20) are loaded.

Do you have any advice on how to fix this issue?

  • You can put any block of Lua script code you want. If it returns a true value (nonzero and non-nil), the condition is deemed true; otherwise, the condition is deemed false. It receives two arguments: the bar object (from which all other SequenceBars objects can be reached), and the player object (returned by Turbine.Gameplay.LocalPlayer:GetInstance()). For examples, select one of the existing conditions, then change the condition to "~Lua Script~", and you will see the Lua code for evaluating that existing condition.

[1] seq.bars loaded right up and my newest (and the rest) showed up flawlessly!! This allowed me to figure out what particular 'button' (that I cloned/copied over from another bar) was NOT showing up in the first position... it was set to auto-hide, which is fine on the original bar, but not the secondary! *rollseyes @ self*

[2] Yes, yes.... but WHAT LUA code blocks are available to 'insert'!? I have no clue what is possible in relation to what else I might want to accomplish within the game's interface.
