This interface uses the "glossy" or "glass" style to give the default LOTRO UI a cleaner and more modern look.

After installation, there will be three skins available, Azure Glass (up to 4 quickslot bars), Azure Glass - Short (up to 2 quickslot bars), and Azure Glass - Tall (up to 6 quickslot bars).

[Credits]
This is an updated version of Enfield's Azure Glass.

Brygard's Dressing Room eXpanded.
Faileon's redesigned hunter's focus indicator.

• Updated Chapmpion fervor indicator

1.2 - Janurary 16, 2010

• Added Brygard's Dressing Room eXpanded

1.1 - Janurary 16, 2010

• Added MrJackdaw's tallcraft
• New crafting window background to match the rest of the skin

1.0 - Janurary 15, 2010
• First release

[Installation Instructions]

Extract the contents of this zip file to the following location:

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\

Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\ui\skins\

You may have to create the above folders if they do not already exist.

[Configuration]

In order for the toolbar to be placed properly, you'll need to modify the X and Y position manually in the SkinDefinition.xml file. The line you'll need to modify is the following line:

<Element ID="ToolbarField" X="..." Y="..." Width="1024" Height="175">

The rules for calculating the values are:
X = (Resolution Width - 1024) / 2
Y = Resolution Height - 135

Example:
Your resolution is 1280x1024
X = (1280 - 1024) / 2 = 128
Y = 1024 - 135 = 889

To use the sort or tall toolbars, from within the main folder browse to 'Azure Glass - Short' or 'Azure Glass - Tall', and edit the appropriate SkinDefinition.xml file.

After loading the UI for the first time, you'll have to restart your LOTRO client for everything to be positioned correctly.

crafting panel

I love this Ui but I am having trouble with the crafting panel. When I try to open the crafting tab it just displays the first tab not allowing me to get to my other crafting abilities. Is there a fix to this problem?

Short \ Tall ... ?

I've got your v1.2 file, but I can't seem to find skin definitions for short or tall, just the default 4 - I looked in the zip and in the XML files, de nada.

What am I missing?

NM I'm a moron. Should have downloaded the 1.3

I always play in Windowed Mode, even when i put it into full screen teh crafting panel is huge hiding the tabs at the top and preventing me from doing anything in any craft but the current tab, any suggestions for how to shrink it?

As Faileon said, swapping between fullscreen and windowed messes up how Turbine displays the interface. As far as I am aware, every interface suffers from this same problem, yet Turbine refuses to fix it.

In the mean time, I would suggest using Alt-Tab rather than windowed mode to access your browser.

This is a stunning looking interface, but how can I get the toolbars to stay in the right place?

I have setup the xml files and it displays perfectly when I move the other 3 bars into position.

The trouble is that I switch between full-screen (1280x1024) and windowed (custom size) in order to consult the internet, etc..

Every time I switch, I have to both re-position the bars and (more importantly) restart my client to get the interface to display correctly.

Is there anything that I can do, or will I have to find a different interface?

Thanks

Well obviously changing resolutions (full screen to windowed screen and vice versa) will cause that thing to happen. There is no way to avoid that, either play in windowed, or full screen.

It appears that when you go back and forth between full screen and windowed mode, it really messes up the positioning of the main toolbar. Any fixes or manual workarounds for this?

After going into windowed mode then back to full screen:

Umm...just mentioning it but 1080-135 is 945. At least thats what windows calc.exe says.
True, but the tall (three line) version uses Resolution Height - 160, because the top of the main bar is higher on the screen.

What specific X/Y values are you using? And are you positive that you're editing the correct XML file?

For the tall version, you need to edit the file within the "Azure Glass - Tall" folder, and use the values provided within the appropriate XML file.

With a 1920x1080 resolution, using the tall version (note that each version needs different X/Y values), you should use X="448" Y="920".
