I have a question and also suggest
whether you could not write continuous changes in individual updates of the plugin, although you do it, you will write only what the latest update contains, but you will delete info about older updates.
I use the LOTRO Plugin Compendium and since it is not built as a similar Minion plugin for another game (ESO), it cannot inform me in real time that any of the plugins I am using have been updated.
I mean the app minion function which can be minimized to the windows system area (the area where the clock is located) and from there it can warn me that one of the plugins has been updated.
I will run the LOTRO Plugin Compendium once in a while and it has happened to me that between the installed version and the updated version you have already released several updates and I do not know what changes you have made in each update, which is good to know if the latest update causes problems and needs to be go back to the older version so that the user can find out what is probably causing the problem and in which version the plugin is OK

An awesome (and invaluable) tool! There are a few issues that I grow tired of, though.
1) Options. Every time there's an update, my chosen orders are reset to the old default. Also, I cannot just copy & paste the settings file for multiple characters, not even of the same class, without next log-in resetting the orders again!
2) Options window. As the list of available places grows with lotro updates, there is still no scroll bar in the select & sort window(and the list of selectable places for a hunter is already longer in height than my screen, making it impossible to de/select most guides without editing the core plugin files & adding scoll bars, which grows very tiresome with every new update removing it) to those windows. Please add scroll bars to that window for those two lists.
3) Milestones 7 - 10 are reversed in order. Return home 7 (reported by the plugin) is set to return home 10 (reported by lotro), 8 to 9, 9 to 8, and 10 to 7. This is yet another one that can be fixed in the plugin files (or re-ordered in options), but has to be redone (either method) EVERY update - again, these edits every time grow more annoying and tiresome. Fixing the orde only involves editing IndexedDictionary(language pref) lines 222-225 (milestones 7-10), reversing hex code portions from 7 to 10 & 8 to 9.
Above all, please is there any way to not reset the personalized options file (TravelWindowsSettings.plugindata) with every update???????????

I have a problem
on my RK race High elf I learned through the trait tree - race trait to travel to Caras galathon in lothlórien but I can't put this travel ability into the plugin while in the plugin I have it turned on
I also attach a picture

Download Doesn't Work
Every single time I try to download this plugin to a new computer it's so confusing and takes up so much time trying to figure out. ![Mad](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/mad.gif) I'm not sure where or how to extract the utilities file from Turbine and what the folders are supposed to look like. Is anyone able to post a step by step guide to how to make this plugin work?

You can look at it as a separate plugin.
So after installing the utils and this plugin you will have ../Plugins/Turbine and ../Plugins/DhorPlugins/Travel

Since my hunter is at 130 and has this skill already, is there a way for us (me) to find the data ouselves?
If I see that corectly, we would then only hve to edit the IndexedDictionaryEn.lua to add "hunterLocations:AddData("Guide to Annāk-khurfu", "0x7005856F", "Guide to Annāk-khurfu");" at the appropriate place.
If we can fimd the value to use instead of 0x7005856F.

Thanks, can confirm that the hunter line works.
Another thing I discovered when my stout-axe rune-keeper reched Henneth Annūn was that his Returen to Henneth Annūn did not work, since it had "after battle" in its description.
Changing it to

fixed it.
On the solution to my answer, I think, I was not for enough back. WIll try to remember for the next added location.

Most importantly, i do not consider the plugin to be abandoned. I would maybe consider uploading a patch if that changes.
The plugin could use some rework in my opinion, i do not have time to do so, adding just new travel locations is easy for me and i have been doing so on my github sporadically. To be honest i actually stopped using the plugin, as i find it is easier to hit K and search for the name i want to travel to. I do not travel around as much as i used to.
Feel free to use it, but my github version has an independent history to Thaliruth's, i do not keep track with the changes they made, and made some of my own too.

I have decided to stop updating the plugin. Firstly because of health reasons, and secondly because I lack some knowledge of LUA programming. The list of travel skills is getting longer and longer, so you should add a scroll down in the window, because it gets a bit narrow at the bottom. And there I lack experience. Adding new journeys is not really difficult, I can continue to do so. But it doesn't make sense in my eyes, because the list has simply become too long.
