so i like to use the mini skin, and noticed that when set up the way you have it (where the vitals are right on top of the centered mini artwork at the bottom of the screen) the player and targets buff and debuffs cannot be scene because they are covered by the artwork. Anyway you could move the buff/debuffs so that they show up above moral and power bars?

Szul: For me they are working as intended at least. Bag button 1 opens Bag 1, Bag button 2 opens Bag 2 etc.. The bags do have the same icon though.
I figured it out. In the UI Settings of Options menu, all of my new Toolbar Slots settings are set as default to Bag 1.

Yeah sorry, I found the problem

I had the soldier vitals right under it and it covered the buffs up.
Moved the soldier vitals to the right and no more problems now

Musje: Must be something else then because I increased the height and there should be plenty enough room for the buff icons. If you move the vitals close to each others sometimes the enemy vital frame will go over the player vital frame thus blocking the first or last column of player buffs. At the moment nothing else comes to my mind as they work fine on my setup.

Once again, debuff tooltips don't work properly in the mini version.

None of the rows of the debuffs at the selection show a tooltip when I mouseover them. Can you please fix this? (probably the height again, but I can't be bothered looking into the XML at the moment)

Just a small update incoming that fixes some issues with the opponent's level background (ie. rare and unknown level). no need to update from 3.6.1 to 3.6.2 if it doesn't bother you

I just finished the 3.6.1 purple and it looks good. I am going to try to set aside the time to make my own now using the color and an idea I got from the new launcher... wish me luck?

thanks for all the advice, editing yours gave me the step up I needed to get into this, and it's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I've even learned a thing or two about how PSP works

Bag 1 is popular!

Are the old menu buttons (and the new bag buttons) supposed to all be activating Bag 1? (tooltips all say Bag 1 as well) Not sure if that's intended for placeholding purposes, or just something wonky?

Yito_graft: I cannot make the map itself a square but I can make the art around it square. So you got it replaces ? Good job Some of the tags in the code are still locked and they don't necessarily change anything. Probably those you changed are just like that. Remember that if the minimap still feels too big you can always use in-game scalers to shrink it down.

liftedplane: No I have nothing against that. But I will probably swap to olive myself soon as I got interested about the idea and I can't figure anything else to do atm UI wise - and lets face it the blue is getting a bit old don't you think

evi: somehow it seems your skindefinition.xml is at a wrong location in relation to the other modified skin files. Hopefully you didn't try to use my config file with some other skins files or vice versa ? Try to re-install the skin and be careful not to brake the file structure.

Daelda & Amagon: Maybe in future there will be different tint variations. Next obvious step would be to make it Mirkwoodish but can't give any time tables when that's going to be.

Jayven: I added AA in version 3.5 so it has been away for a long time (guess I had it V2.0 back then). And about what you said of the menu buttons sounds like you just forgot to relog. great that you got it working though.

It's possible to change the minimap. The easiest way to do it is to replace my minimap files (UI\Skins\DaimonUI3\Radar\*.TGA) with the minimap you like to use. Make sure you name them accordingly. That way you don't have to touch the code.

I was actually thinking of making a green version of my purple version... more a drab olive, but green none the less, if that was fine with you of course

I have limited xml coding experience; but maybe this will be a fun test of my skill. First, you seamed to imply that you can make the radar something other than square. Second, I would be willing to play with it and give to you for use (I don't want credit, just experience); but is there an example somewhere I can look at to learn from?

Oh, and I did change your radar in the past; but I re wrote code. Somehow I didn't think to make the replacement files the same name.

edit: tried to mess with it with no luck. /mini/SkinDefinition.xml is the file to edit for the mini skin correct? I was havening no luck effecting any of the radar? even if I tried extreme changes?

Edit 2: besides replacing the radar image; I modified some things:

Not as pretty as you do, but will do for now. I think I might keep the smaller radar though. Yours is pretty, but this one is smaller. On my small monitor that is good.
