Hi
First of all. great Ui that isnt just about style :-)
After the latest update, the character-panel is not working right. I got it to work wothout changing the resolution, but then the rest of the UI (bottom field) was broke. When i changed the resolution on the UI, the character panel was broke again.
Any ideas, suggestions?
Pengthir.

PhilmacFly: They were probably left on your HDD from the previous versions. I advice to not use them.

enemy: No. The old panels aren't coming back at least for now (but I have disabled them so you don't need to disable them yourself any longer). read my previous reply for the main reason why.

Thanks for the help daimon

I remember I disabled the questlog and crafting panel after Update 1 because they updated them and you suggested to turn them off. Have those been fixed or do you need the art assets to do that? I miss those custom panels..

New version for Update 2. I just disabled the customized char panel. If you want that I continue working on this skin I advice you to give support for us skinners at Lotro Forums (this will not only affect my work but other skin authors as well). Only way we can get new resources is to put pressure on Turbine by their customers it looks like.
Ask for new Art Asset resources (or Skin Art Pack) for skinners at http://forums.lotro.com/forumdisplay...User-Interface
IceTiger: Thank you and Yes. That's a pretty good idea actually. I'll see if it could be done reasonably. However if it turns out I have to make one for every resolution I won't include it.
PhilmacFly: Are you using my old layouts ? because if you are I strongly recommend against it. I took them out from the zip for a reason. I suggest you set them manual once and then save your own layout for future use. I might add the layouts again sometime but for now they are not on the priority list.
Luponius: Thank you. Go ahead

Is there a reason you left these lines in?
Why not just remove the whole section?
When I took that line out, the main bar reset to the default bar.

Update?
Having issues with some of the panels and I was wondering if you are planning an update for daimonui? If not is there a way to fix the broken panels with just the stock ones and leaving the rest of the ui intact?
Thanks

The new char panel is messed up with the skin. How would I go about just ripping your version out until you are able to update it yourself?
Update:
It remains to be seen if I've screwed anything else up, but I fixed the char page for now by replacing everything in the "Journal Panel" heading of the skindefinitions.xml file with the following...
Code:

<PanelFile ID="ID_UISkin_Journal_Window">
<Element ID="Journal_Window" X="6" Y="120" Width="500" Height="580">
<Element ID="Journal_Panel" X="6" Y="37" Width="497" Height="540">

Re: Layouts
@Phil - Pretty sure you did it correctly. Hit Ctrl + \ and move your vitals to the right position, move your chat using the General tab and you're pretty much set, unless I'm missing something obvious (in which case I'm sorry!)
@Daimon - Thank you for the Interface! Works like a charm, the automatic installation gave me troubles at first, making me think it didn't properly nail the 1920 resolution so I did the renaming manually - all's good!
I plan to record some footage and upload to my YouTube channel and I'd say using your UI would be great - if that's fine with you (of course w/ credits)

xp bar
i really like your ui, been using it for at least a year and a half, about the only thing that bugs me is that the xp bar is pretty much just long bar, any chance you could put dividers in it at regular intervals, so that i can look and go "ok, that the 30% mark" instead of guessing " well that looks about 30%" maybe put a lines in every say 5%
if this is stupid, just tell me, and either way, thanks for listening.
