Cheers, fellas.

When "november" patch goes live I'll just disable crafting and questbook from the skin untill I got it fixd.. actually you can already do that if you use "Customize" option while running Setup.cmd (it's only a matter of not including those mods for the skindefinition.xml - although graphics might not show up).


Sokos: *cough* my Tab-key is getting very tired cos all the tabbing I'm doing..

A little word about how things will go on in the near future concerning DaimonUI

I'm currently working on making the 3D portraits to show up in Mini/Uni and making it optional so you can choose between those a bit larger vital panels that have 3D portraits and vitals that only have minimal frames (without 3D). I will also try to include Palantir HUD support while I'm at it ^^

But it will take a bit time until I'm ready to publish it all (and depending my "creativity moods" ). I have almost rewritten the whole Setup patcher which has become quite complicated (even that I tried to make it simpler haha).

After I get that done I'll prolly go after Deed tabs and some other stuff I have left untouched but which have been bothering me. When everything else lines up (if ever ) I'll try to start making up some nice new background textures for panels etc to finalize the skin.

aaaand maybe after that I finally get to the Shadows of Angmar theme..


..oh and I better mention that all that might come to an sudden end if Codemasters decide not to give me my missing Turbine Points (loyalty rewards etc) and I rage-quit the game haha (nah give the poor fellas at CM some more time to sort out the missing points issues, my fellow europeans )

I would have to double check but I believe the only elements that are being changed with the new patch are the crafting panel, quest log and the new skirmish bag. I sure am hoping that we get a tga file for the skirmish bag. lol So I think for the most part though, the crafting panel and quest log should just be able to edited to fit the newer changes. The skirmish panel we will more than likely be waiting for a tga file.

Hehe, after I posted I went and looked at the xml and was able to add it to the mini skindefinition. My corner images aren't quite aligned so I'll just grab it from you when you next update.

I use Notepad++ as well. How do you get your xml output formatted the way it is with it?

Hope you get your computer sorted out...broken machines are no fun.

Any idea how long it could take to bring the skin up to compatibility with the next patch? I finally got it set up the way I like with DaimonUI (although I'd still like those large character portraits/vitals bar with the mini UI ), and I was bummed to find out I might have to start over once the patch launches.

Sokos: actually now that you mentioned it I have already done that in the up and coming update. the auction panel mod will be optional though. I use notepad++

Sorry to hear about your video card.

Thanks for a great UI, loving the mini Moria one.

They have also made the quest window wide now. The quest text is on the left with the rewards listed in a seperate pane on the right. The new bank may or not cause issues as well.

UPDATE: I checked bullroarer this morning and the crafting windows is messed up. Didn't think to look at anything else.

Gspawn: I heard some rumors about this. I sure hope it isn't something dreadful to fix but I guess we just have to wait and see (as I don't have access to Bullroarer myself, although it wouldn't do much good until they give us the resources what has changed anyways).

Brode: Those are pretty much scrapped projects I'm afraid. If I have some spare time I could look into it but having the main skin updated/tweaked is my main objective.

Hi Daimon, just a heads up for you. There are some major graphical issues with the crafting panel in the next update. Don't know what they did but i hope it can be fixed.

Missing tga?

First I want to say great job on this ui! I use it all the time.

However, I noticed a graphical error in the Skirmish traits panel:

I tried looking in the skindef file and saw this line:
<Mapping ArtAssetID="skirmish_traits_equipped_title" FileName="..\Panels\skirmishTraitsHeader.tga" />

I think that is the proper line for this panel, (if not please forgive me)
I could not find the tga this references in the panels folder.

It is not a major problem just thought I'd point it out and see if there is a fix for it.

MrKuenning: Did you check the troubleshooting just above ? If you have done so then your problem lies elsewhere, a screenshot would be nice.
