Hey Ray =)

Love your skin but how can I change the border of the graphical skins in the center (this with the grey borders and the black background)

Need bordere they fit to the Vitals of Player an enemy ;D

Can u help me ?

PS: I have nice borders but how to use it with your skin?!

Are you using any plugins? This sounds like a known bug from that side of the UI...

+1 for Girlfriends of the world. My gf uses your skin as well and she hasn't noticed the issue I've described but I woke up this morning to an e-mail from her with that very same link in it! I've posted over there and linked to a recent upload of general screenshots. The link is http://home.xaerolimit.net:2500/~chr...otro/disaster/ if you want to take a look too. I try to not overlap stuff as you'll see and will spend many tens of minutes lining thoes bars up as best I can lol.

Sorry, I've used my skin for some time now and can't reproduce that bug. I have no clue what the problem might be, so I cannot help you

What I can imagine is that a different zone is nearby, so try unlocking your UI (Control + \) and see if another box is around that area. Maybe you click in that box and it invisibly is mapped over your button.

It happened again but there was nothing to take a screenshot of, no error messages, Bar #1, Slot #1 just failed to work till I unlocked my bar, drug the icon off and back to Slot #1 and it worked like normal.

Yeah, you can mention that the quickslotbar 3 hides behind a custom made skin on startup.

Sure, if there is a notification there, please post that and make a screenshot where you can see it's wonky :-) You can cut out the section of the toolbar and chat window when you post a screenshot.

Bar #3 is a known bug, like I mentioned before. If people fill in bug reports often enough, maybe Turbine will fix it

That slot #1 will go wonky I didn't encounter before. Can you make a screenshot of it when it does? I don't have a clue what it can be...

I've noticed w/ v2.2a that my main skill bar (the fixed one), slot #1 will go a little wonky from time to time and I can't use it (can't click it or use #1 on the keyboard). I need to unlock my skillbar (bound to another key else where in my my keyboard), drag the skill off the Main bar, slot #1 and back before it will work again. This really isn't critical as this skill isn't something important for me right now, so it's a mild inconvenience at best. Also, as someone else reported, bar #3 tends to play Hide-and-go-seek when I first log into a toon. It's a mild inconvenience at best like the previous issue. I've just made it a habit when I first log a toon to fix that. Slot #1 is random, works then stops so unsure yet of how to actually correct it.

As you all can read, I've uploaded version 2.2a
I discovered a bug with NormalLeft version where the main menu arrow was located too high. Futhermore, the XP bar showed only about 3/4th of your level, the rest was hidden behind buttons.
Also the Skimish Join and Lorebook had been renamed, so I've renamed them cosmetically now too.

You can check which version you have in the skindefinition.xml file.
I keep a changelog in there. If it says "v2.2: added ..." you have v2.2 installed ;-)

And "!entity Barstart" is a variable which defines how many pixels the toolbar should be positioned to the right.
The number of "BarStart" + "Width" defines your resolution. They are located in the line

Quick update Ray. Was wrong about servers being down (got an unable to connect to the login server Red X, thought it was patch day). But I got back in and everything seems to be perfect (of course, the Bar 3 is still playing hide-n-seek) on me, but ah well, eh?

Thanks for pointing me to the 2.2 version as I guess I had 2.1 on the machine.

Thanks for the quick reply, Ray. I've downloaded the 2.2 version (Perhaps I had 2.1? Not sure) and have changed all the XML files over to the (I believe) correct resolution. Of course, it just happens to be patch day, so I'm unable to test. ugh.

Quick question, what is the:

!entity Barstart

you've got in there in place of some of the resolution options?

Hey Diatribe1974,

As posted in an earlier post: Bar 3 is indeed invisible behind the skin. It's a LOTRO bug and hasn't been fixed. I can't do anything about that.

Second: try download the latest version (2.2). You are using version 2.1 (or earlier) which isn't compatible with the latest update (F2P / Enedwaith). Click on the big Download button on top of this page to get the latest version. It will fix the Lotro store button and bag 1/2 button and place them at the button area. (Check the last screenshot how it looks right now)

You've set the screenresolution in the XML file correct, please do that again when you install Version 2.2.

Thanks for the UI, but I've got one small issue with it, I hope you can help me out with. I'm currently using the Rays2NormRight (think that's how it's called) version in which the buttons are on the right. Anyways, I've got a problem in which the LOTRO store icon/button and Bag 1 & Bag 2 quick buttons (small buttons, not the ones you made) are laying over the Auto-Attack icon & the first part of the Right area button layout. I'll see about giving a direct link so you can see what I'm talking about and see if there's a way to fix this for me.

I run things in 1680x1050 for reference, btw & I believe I've set things correctly in the XML, but correct me where I'm wrong. Also, on a last minute addition, Bar 3 is either "invisible until use" for me or is somehow laying underneath the skin you've used. In the pic I've linked, it's the one with my Health/Power potions row. I can hover my mouse over where they're supposed to be & I'll get the descriptions for each item there, but they're simply not visible. (this one's not too horrible)
