Yeah, I don't have any of those under my Lord of the Rings online folder except the ones I already stated I made. I do remember before the computer crash some of the other folders being there, such as the music one. This will have to wait till I 'reload' my computer again correctly this time. I will see how it goes with my other new computer at my other place and will let you know.
Thanks for your help.

It should not matter about the C:. Check the images in the description above for how my Plugins folder looks. I added a screenshot this morning.

Note, it only shows the folders, it does not show the files.

Hi again,

1. Where (what folder) does the utilities file 7z go into?
2. Do any files need to be in the new Turbine and TurbinePlugins folders I made under the Documents/Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins folder?
3. I do not use a C: drive on this particular computer (don't ask) my C: drive is I, would that cause a problem?

Thank you, I have made those folders (the Turbine and the TurbinePlugins) and will test once they finish working on the servers and the game comes back up.

Did you see the post by Magill below. He summarized the folder layout quite nicely:

The error you are seeing leads me to think the /Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Turbine folder is not in the correct location. Also, there should not be another Turbine folder inside that folder, only 4 subfolders and a number of .lua files. Hope that helps fixing the problem.

I have been attempting to get this plugin to work. And let me tell you, I am REALLY looking forward to when I do get it to work! .

However this is what I get after I:
1. Made a Plugins folder under Documents/Lord of the Rings/(plugins)
2. Downloaded the utility for Turbine the 7z file and put it in the plugins folder.
3. Downloaded the plugin and unzipped it into the plugins folder.

This is what I get when I try to launch the plugin:

Online\Plugins\DhorPlugins\Travel\TravelWindow.lua :2: Unable to resolve package "Turbine.Debug".
ings Online\Plugins\DhorPlugins\Travel\__init__.lua:2: Failed to import package "DhorPlugins.Travel.TravelWindow".
he Rings Online\Plugins\DhorPlugins\Travel\Main.lua:2: Failed to import package "DhorPlugins.Travel".

Please help

Thank you.

Re: Re: Unable to Load

THANK YOU!! That did it. I didn't understand from the instructions that the Turbine and TurbinePlugins needed to be on the same level.

Quote:
You should have the following structure:

The TravelWindow-8.0.zip file should "unzip" into a single folder: DhorPlugins.

Drag that folder into your Plugins folder.

You should wind up with...:

/Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/DhorPlugins/<files& folders>
/Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Turbine
/Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/TurbinePlugins

... plus any additional plugins you happen to have.

Note: a NEW plugin folder will not be recognized until you exit the game and
restart.
However, an UPDATED plugin folder can be activated in-game with the commands

/plugins unload
/plugins load travel

Similarly if you are using Shady's Plugin Manager, simply clicking refresh will "usually" cause the
update to be recognized.

I just checked and discovered I moved the new 8.0 version into the upper directory (same level as Plugins).

Re: Need to update version # in Travel.plugin

The xml file "Travel.plugin" still shows version 7.2

Any chance of getting the Version number to display in "options" and/or in the "Chat window" when the plugin loads.
I just downloaded the new version again and checked, and I get the 8.0 version.

I will look into a chat message displaying the version on startup.

Quick Update

I released an update that will add sliders for setting the opacity of the toggle button and the main window itself.

I am also adding a button to the option window that will reset all setting to default values. This should help with anyone having problems with the button moving outside the screen, or other potential issues.
