Thank you!
I have just started using this plugin, and I absolutely love it! It frees up some much needed quickslot space!
I'm sure you have plenty to work on, but if you could ever see your way clear to designing something very similar for loremaster pets and for mounts, I would be in heaven! /beg (I don't care for the pet and mount carousels, or the random mount selector....)
Thanks so much for a terrific plugin!

Re: Thank you!
Hi, and thank you for the nice comments. I have thought about doing other windows for pets and mounts, however I am really too busy to be able to work on them right now.
Maybe someday a bit later. Or if someone else wished, they could modify my code for them.

I love the plugin, it saves so much space! However I'm having a problem when it tries to load the Settings:
.../TravelWindowSettings.plugindata:5: ']' expected near ','
...s Online\Plugins\DhorPlugins\Travel\TravelWindow.lua :329: Unable to parse file!
The Plugin loads fine when I delete the Settings file, but it's kind of a hassle to do that every time I start up LotrO.
Note that I'm using the german client of Lotro.

Yup, saving the settings with comma's instead of periods is a problem. This should be fixed with the next release.

Seems this plugin also causes a client crash in RoI
Its the only plugin I loaded and its crashed my client to the desktop each time after about 30 mins of being loaded.
Edit: Not confirmed, but it seems that when travel cooldowns reset, it causes the client to crash.

Interesting. All the info I had before was there could be an issue when looting/backpack problem. If it is an issue when the cooldowns reset, then there is nothing I can do to fix it.
I am about to update to a new version that disables the backpack access though, hoping that will make it work for the time being.

Creep Play
Now that Creep maps have been converted to skills, I was wondering if it would be possible to make this plugin compatible with those skills. As it stands now, it won't even load on my creeps, I get the following error message:" ...s Online\Plugins\DhorPlugins\Travel\TravelWindow.lua :88: attempt to call field 'WriteLine' (a nil value)"
Seeing as there are 21 travel locations, the use of this plugin would be fantastic. I currently use it on my Warden and love it.

I have thought about this, but I won't commit to it one way or the other. I personally do not PvMP, so I don't know much about the map skills.

Same problem here (French client) - have you found a solution?

The latest version should work on all languages. I am surprised you still have this issue.
Hope there is not a new bug. One other possibility is your plugindata file was corrupted somehow, but I hope not. You can always try to delete it and see if it helps.

Thanks.
I have thought about this in the past, and have not looked at it in a long time. The problem was that if there are no other UI windows open, when you hit ESC, the main menu window will open.
I don't believe anything has changed in that regard. I will check into it again, and maybe add it as an option.
|
Were you able to take a look at that? Thanks

Not sure if it's something on my end, but the plugin wont save my settings for map order in the travel window. Plus I have to re-add the ettens map every time I log in. Not sure when this started, but have not been a problem before. (Using the latest version)

This is odd. The only thing I can think of is the settings file has somehow become corrupt. You could try to delete/rename the setting file for your character and see if that helps. If you don't know, you can find the file at: C:\Users\{windowsUserID}\Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\PluginData\{LOTRO_User_ID}\{ServerName}\{Ch aracterName}\TravelWindowSettings.plugindata
Edit: the sorting I don't know about, but the Map to Glan Vraig is a bug that will be fixed soon.
@Skofield
I know that it still does not function properly.

Filename change? Instead of TravelWindow-8.8.zip I got rV_TravelWindow-8.7.zip.

Sorry, I forgot to set the name when I pushed the new version. I do know the contents of rV_TravelWindow-8.7.zip are indeed for version 8.8.
