After playing around a bit with this plugin, I found it the right one for Travel. The different modes available I'm very fond off. I'm using Carousel mode myself .But this one has so much more potential.
I've tried Horsey and Mountcarousel and they don't do what I want them to do and I don't like how they look. I would like to see the option to have more then one (Travel)window. Something like "Horse Window" and "Skill Window". Right now it's already possible to add maps to the travel window. An extra window with just this functionality to add skills or other stuff would be nice.

Other handy functions:

* Fade out
* In/Out combat mode
* Toggle Button
* The ability to create multiple Windows

Yes, the portnames in the IndexedDictionary.lua are very easy to translate. But for controls, travel rations and user defined maps a little more work is necessary.

However, thank you for your answer! Loca for german client should by working.
Good point. I think I might be able to add some of those items to the same file.

Hi D.H1cks.

Great work! Is it possible that you put all the strings you used for the GUI in an seperate file? In this way translation would be very easy. For my german client i searched the corresponding strings and replaced them, but rather thats a dirty solution, espeacially for later updates
I have been thinking about this request, and I think for the time being I will not implement this. All of the text for the shortcuts are located in one file already, called IndexedDictionary.lua. To pull them all out of this file to create a new file would add another level of complexity that I don't wish to have.

However, I think I will open up mods for the Travel Window to allow other authors to submit different language packs.

I've another question: I couldn't try this plugin because of the weekly maintenance on the european server, but does the plugin display all travel options or just those I bought or received?
First, you can unzip the Turbine file into your 'The Lord of the Rings Online' folder. Check the link I provided in the description that shows the folder layout. The Turbine file adds the Turbine and TurbinePlugins folders.

The plugin API currently does not allow us to find out what travel skills your characters have, so it can show all the skills, even those you don't know. However, there are filters you can use to select your race and class, as well as an option window you can access that will allow you to select individual travel skills.

Coming in the November update is the ability to determine class and race, so those filters will no longer be required, but we still won't be able to determine your skills.

Firefox doesn't download this file, too. I had to choose "Save target..." in the right-click menu. Where do I have to put this file?

The description says:

"This plugin also requires the Turbine utilities file that is available at: http://content.turbine.com/sites/lot..._LuaPlugins.7z"

This site does'nt work for me...
I clicked on the link and IE9 is asking me to save the file... so it appears to be working for me.

Have you tried to right-click the link and Save-As?

The travel window doesn't work completly with the changes upcoming with the November Update. I am getting errors when trying it out on Bullroarer.
Yup, there is one line that causes the problem, loading the player info. Everything will be fine when the update comes though.

I love this mod....one suggestion.....

Can you get rid of the words *guide to*,,? so we can make it a bit smaller? We all know they are a guide
Actually, I use the full name to keep the skills separated in code, so it is not something easily done.

As a personal opinion, I keep them there so I can tell the difference between my class ports, my racial port and my reputation ports. This is useful in text mode since they have different cooldowns and travel ration requirements.....

well until you get to a point where you can filter out all the return to skills, the Guide too is helpful running in list mode. Yhis thing has saved both my hunters from hotbar sprawl.
