Yes it was changed to allow more flexibility in defining what conditions would popup a pot/skill. You can tell if you need to look at it still from the main window. If the name includes "Edit to set the shorcut" then the quickslot is invalid. However it won't detect cases where the quickslot is valid but you are out of pots .

You can remove the parts you don't want. Here is how. - Open up the options: /buffbars options
- Push the effect windows button
- Click the remove button until there aren't any more listed in the window drop down box
- Repeat the same procedure for Quickslots.

Thank you so much for patching up the plugin while we wait for Turbine to fix their stuff! Really missed using Buffbars since RoI.

I've updated the plugin to remove the code that will crash the client. Just update to version 1.2.1 and you should be good to go. Hopefully I can re-enable it in the near future.
*Note this isn't the planned update I had previously mentioned. I'm still waiting on lua doc updates to get the needed event names I need for party buffs.

I disabled the quickslot panel and my cooldown panel (so i only havea buffs panel and debuff panel active (i dont use slider anyway) and commented out the CoolDownManager import and it seems to be working fine. (2 hours spam killing and harvesting so far).
Hope it gets fixed soon great plugin.

I must have missed something, because I'm still getting crashes even after commenting out all the CoolDownManager stuff.
Do you all think it would help to comment out the "import" lines so nothing touching cooldowns is ever called, or would that cause loading to fail?

Turbine said the issue should be fixed with the next patch, of course the next "patch" could be when Update 5 comes out. Turbine isn't big on patching between releases, unfortunately.

So if anyone is in the same boat as me, here's what I did: In the PengorosPlugins\Utils folder, open the __init__.lua file (with Notepad or something similar) and comment out the very last line that says "PengorosPlugins.Utils.CoolDownManager"; You can comment it out by adding a "--" to the start of the line.
Then go into the PengorosPlugins\BuffBars folder and open the CoolDownList.lua file. Edit out lines 16, 20 through 23, and 27. Without commenting out these lines my BuffBars wouldn't load (not sure how the others were able to get it to load by only commenting out the first thing).

I tried this and it actually seems to be working in the way I'm used to, i.e. potions are popping up and I'm using them without any problems. Let's see if it remains in good working order!

This method worked for me. I played last night with Buffbars for about 3 hours without any crashing. Nice work! I could not live without buffbars...literally. No, really. I die a lot without it.
