Try using the TBPO plugin set and see if that works for you. I know its a shameless plug but i did alot manual fixes to the plugins that had LocalPlayer issues and made it compliant with US and EU players.

BuffBars works great if you only load it up on the first time you log in but for someone like myself that does multiple load/unloads i eventually hit the error stating that 'base' was having issues.

I still think someone messed with the metatable and didnt tell anyone

LocalPlayer bug should be fixed with the 12/2 version....unless your EU then you need to download the version pre-11/29 until they implement the new Turbine framework to the EU servers.

Trying to load ver 1.1.6, and am unable

It's my first installation, and have never used BuffBars before.

I have downloaded Turbine's files.

I can get other plugins to load.

Error Message:

first thanks for this amazing Addon, my Cappi can't live without it anymore

Since the Novemberupdate i have two problems with the effect Slider. The remaining time of a certain Buff is no more shown at the Bottom of the Buff. But the bigger problem: I can't ignore any more Effects from a Slider because no menu opens if i do a right click on a buff.
these two things appear only on Sliders, the Effect Windows are not affected.

The download buttons on this page should be giving you the 1.1.6 version. Maybe try refreshing the page without hitting your browser cache(Ctrl+F5 while viewing the page usually will do the trick).

Where do i download 1.1.6, when i click on the Download buttons it still sends me to ver 1.1.4.

It looks like you still have an older version of the plugin before I fixed that issue yesterday. Download the latest 1.1.6 and the problem should go away.

Feature Request: Would it be possible to do one or both of the following:
1) Make an option for max size of the Effects Window, then either autoscale down to fit as more buffs are added or autofilter only the buffs that expire soonest.
2) Put an option for max height on the Effects Window, then a new buff is added that would exceed the max height, a new column is started next to the first.

I have my buffs filling up on the left side of my screen and often when I'm in a full fellow instance the number of buffs I have covers up some of the group members vitals. It would be great if I could tell BuffBars it is allowed to use the space from my LI indicator to the group vitals, then perform one of the functions above (either autofilter or automatically add a second column)

I just upgraded to the new version of BuffBars. I deleted all of my old plugin folders and started from scratch after the Nov 29 update. I just loaded the new BuffBars with no errors but when I tried to load the options (/BuffBars options), I get the following error:

Any ideas?

1.1.6 should fix this problem. There was a compatibility issue with the new quickslot class.

well got a problem with buff bars...
im deseased it wants to use wound cure
im wounded it wants to use non would item
need life it wants to use power pot
etc..etc..etc..

any idea how or why the plugin isnt offering the correct slotted item per condition.. above is random exsamples.

Pen...why dont you create your portal....and then track features/bug requests through that system?

I set mine up for OneBigBag and the TBPO plugin set. Well worth the initial setup time to help with tracking and make sure others know what is known.
