PLEASE HELP, im stuck on coding.
Well, just today, I did a full reinstall windows 10. Copied nicely the d:\documents\Lord of the Rings\*.* back to my \user\...\documents\Lord of the Rings

I did this also when I bought this pc, and copied the directory to this new pc.

Well, now suddenly, I get an error in function.lua. Digged into the code, and compared this with other plugins.

Bevy saves data to the BevyOBars2.plugindata in the format "1" for example.
Now with a new character in the format 1.000000 like other plugins.

All the time, it worked perfect with the "1" format, now suddenly saves the bar information into another format ????

I tried to edit the files, replaced all the "<number>" into <number>.000000 see the bars, but are now empty without an image.
What can I do ?????

.plugindata how it worked all the time:

["X"] = "100",
["Y"] = "100"
now suddenly the settings are saved like this:

["X"] = 100.000000,
["Y"] = 100.000000

HELP, my bevybar settings file is 650k.

Hey man,

For whatever reason I cannot get the monitor functionality to work. No matter what I add in the monitor box, it just resets every time I open the box again, and the bar will not appear or disappear with any selected buffs. Am I doing something wrong with it or is there an issue?

THANK YOU MrJackdaw for this fantabulous plugin. It's just what I needed to de-clutter my screen and streamline my gameplay, a million thank yous!

I love that you have class options; I've already set up my hunter to have certain skills show only when she's achieved a certain measure of focus. I'm anxious to try out a few others, like minstrel and runekeeper, sweet! But one question.

I haven't seen a Loremaster option under my modules for my LM. Does one exist? I have the plugin loaded, and when I log in to my LM, I type /BB module and a list comes up, but there's nothing for Loremaster. Am I doing something wrong? I'd love to have a module that allows for certain skills to show up only when the "flanked" effect occurs. Is this possible?

I suspect you are running in "Full Screen (Windowed)" mode in which case this is a bug in the underlying client that will be addressed in update 16.5. If you wish to manually address this before 16.5 is released, you can temporarily switch to "Full Screen" mode, set your resolution to your desktop resolution, save settings, then switch back to "Full Screen (Windowed)" resolution and restart the client. All plugins should then get the correct screen size and behave correctly.

_ Bevy 'o Bars still works fine, but i got a small problem : i can't move my bar the the right side of my monitor. Im using 1920x1200 resolution, but in options panel, bars can only move to max 1024x768 place, mean all half of right side of my screen, i can't place bars there.

_ So, anyways i can fix it myself ?


I have the same problem using 1920x1080 resolution. Would love to know if there's a fix for this.

Excellent plugin. However, I am not getting it to save changes to the items I place in the bars. If I move an item out and replace it with something else it reverts back each time I log in. Any suggestions?

Hello MrJackDaw.

This is a wonderful plugin. Takes a bit to set it up, but it is well worth it. There are, however, a few modules that I cannot quite figure out how to use:

1 - HiderBar
2 - Low Power/Moral
3 - Debuff
4 - Buff Monitor
5 - Show/Hide on Key Modifiers

It could very well be that I am too new to LOTRO and using plugins, but I sure would appreciate some help.

Great plugin! Always tryed to get my screen tidyer, now it’s clean :-) But i cannot load the Key Modifier plugin? I click it, and when i reopen /BB module, Key Modifier module is unchecked again ...

I get this in red letters in the chat panel when I log in:
Turbine has not enabled Burglar IsCriticalTier1Available(). The Burglar module will not work!

Also, when I try to make a pop-up bar and add buttons by sliding the bar in "pop up bar options", i get:
...Rings Online\Plugins\JackdawPlugins\Bevy2\popups.lua:77: attempt to index field 'PopButton' (a nil value)

I have managed to make & customize (size, position, opacity, etc) several bars, but not pop-ups.

Anyone know from these what I'm doing wrong?

I'd appreciate any help.

Version 459 - Bug fixes

In this version:

• Stance Module - Now should detect if the class has no stances and unload itself if none are detected. (Thanks to Dwahlin)
• AutoLoader - has a new option to load without modules.

If bevy throws an error and will not load please use BevyoBars2AutoLoader instead of BevyoBars2 in the "Manage Plugins" screen.

This gives you a big button to push to load the main plugin and now (NEW!) gives you a button to clear all the modules. This will allow you to stop bevy loading modules that are throwing errors. I know this is not ideal, but it's the best I can do.

I realise there has been a long absence - I am back for a little while!
