In the modified version of LotropadWindow it is on lines 256-261 and part of the button loop. In the original version it was a bit sillier and listed individually. I was hoping that it would work for you as is.

Thanks for trying, I haven't updated the plugin yet because I've been waiting for your response. Thank you for the modified LotropadWindow.lua but I can't ask you where the individual "actions for slot buttons" are listed in your modified LotropadWindow.lua file, somehow I can't find them.
I am sending you my modified LotropadWindow.lua as I have modified it. modified in my modified LotropadWindow.lua "actions for slot buttons" are on lines 252 to 398 and something like that is missing in your LotropadWindow.lua.

Yes, I see. Actually, I once started Lotropad2 which would have had more customization like that, but I didn't get too far as I wasn't active in lotro anymore.

I did make a quick mod for you. It's a single file which you need to replace a file with the same name in Lotropad plugin directtory. It has configurable amount of notes, although it's hardcoded on line 21.

If you give it a try, remember to make a backup of your LotropadData.plugindata first. Also, you will lose data if you decide to change the amount of notes to be smaller later.

Unfortunately, if you already lost notes after using the updated version instead of your modded version, then I'm afraid I cannot help :-(.

I have a minor problem with the update
based on advice from another user, I modified the plugin (privately) so that I raised the max. the number of notes from 10 to 20 and I have them all filled and when I update the plugin I will lose these data that I have in the notes 10+ but since it was a long time ago when I did it I can not find advice on the basis of which I modified the plugin so I would he wanted to ask whether such an adjustment could not be incorporated officially
note: the plugin worked for me without updating

I thought I did that as well and did another version bump to be sure, but the same thing happened and zip didn't update - go figure. Version 0.82 in the file history is available though and has the same fixes. My other plugin worked ok and gave the new zip.

This may sound silly, but did you remember to click the "Replace with" radio button? Just selecting a new file to upload is not sufficient, you have to remember to click that radio button too. I've forgotten that once or twice myself and the net result is that the old file will remain...

I'm not sure why, but for some reason the zip is not updating. It is still giving version 0.81. The plugin is is in the outdated category, so that could be one explanation.

I updated the plugin, and hopefully it will now work with update 29. Thanks go mostly to Garan who provided some tips and example code on the plugin author forums.

since the patch on march 17th lotropad doesn't work any more with my system.

lotro client: 64 bit
windows version: 2004

the button from lotropad do absolut nothing any more.
my wife got the 32 bit client and it runs properly...

any hind?

yes, I copied the name directly from the name of the picture and then put it into the plugin, and since English is not my native language so I use the names in the alphabet without diacrystals (I'm Slovak) because I know from English on sometimes a problem with diacritics

Did you enter the filename correctly? If not, the background will turn gray, and there should be an error message in the chat window:

...gs Online\Plugins\Chiran\Lotropad\LotropadWindow.lua: 622: Failed to load background image.

Note that the filename is case-sensitive and must include the extension (.jpg). If you have any non-English characters in the filename, you might try renaming it.

exactly what pises I did and if you read my report, one of the formats was the .jpg format.

when I saved the image to Documents / The Lord of the Rings Online / Plugins / Chiran / Lotropad / images and the following game tried to load it so the only change was from the background of the plugin window changed color to lighter shades (I mean window when ) and then I turned off and turned on the game and log on the character so the plugin disappeared and I got a message about the error

Works fine for me. The two accepted image formats are .jpg and .tga.

The files must be placed in Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Chiran/Lotropad/images.

Yes that is possible, and just raising the number takes only a few minutes. However, they wouldn't fit the UI so some kind of scrollable/scalable UI would be needed which takes much more effort. Again, I can consider it, but as I don't play the game anymore it's not a top priority for me...
