My last error seems to be gone now. I just ran the same skirmish again, and I'm no longer getting those errors I reported.

I didn't notice when I first loaded the plug-in, there was a 'ghost' empty bar out there. I went to configure TB and saw it really hadn't delete the new inventory bar called 'Horse' that I made. It was almost like when I deleted it, it got rid of the 'Horse' name, and the bar was gone, but really the bar was still there.

I deleted it again (bar 19) and this time it went away (hopefully for good), and I noticed I wasn't getting the error anymore.

I'm glad you found the Zombie bar. This is an issue I had to solve when the original bars were added and didn't continue the fix on when I made new types. The reason is that it's a hard problem.

What's going on is a Race Condition. Meaning if one piece of code does something and another piece of code gets called one might win over the other. So, you delete a bar but within no time, a callback fires, and it modifies something on that bar. So, the delete occurs, the modification occurs and what you get is a partially deleted bar. The solution is easy, but I need to get time to go through all callbacks and protect them from this occuring. I'm hoping to get to that tonight.

I just started to use TB and love it. Downloaded V2.3.1 yesterday and it worked great. This morning I changed some options on the extension screen to when I roll over my main bar to open the extension and roll the selected toggle to the main bar. As soon as I did that every time I enter combat I get spammed with the following "...ugins\Tonic\TonicBars\Events\ClassSpecificEven ts.lua:68: attempt to compare number with nil ". I then put everything back to just show the extension bar, and it is still spamming me. I have searched for this problem and did not find anything on it.

lol More problems

I have been using and enjoying Tonicbars since just before the new year with no problems whatsoever.

Like many others I was intrigued by the inventory bars and am now using 2.4beta. Stupidly I deleted all the tonicbars settings and started from scratch. Luckily, I haven't had the zombie bar spamming me, though I have had several that I couldn't find on the screen and had to delete em from the list. Also, when copying bars from one toon to another, the extensions keep appearing far away from the bars they were attached to and I have to delete/remake em. Also, not all of my bars are copying over.

Lastly, a few requests to keep in mind. The inventory bars are a great idea, but can we have the background color changable or removable like the other bars? Also for the inventory bars, I reduced the size of the bar to 1x3 and the background still shows and takes up the space of 1x4. And lastly but definatle not least. The class based bars (Easybars tab) is great, but I dont use em. Is there a way to have only created if you ask for em? As it is, when I 1st put tonicbars on another toon they're all over the screen and using the 1st 2-10 bars. Not a big inconvenience, but would be nice.

This looks like a display issue, it seems like it's actually getting saved (if you reset the plugin it would probably display) but it should be fixed in Beta2, let me know if it is not. (By the way, I just posted it)

I do understand your sentiment, but what I found is that some people didn't really understand the power that the plugin provided or what some of the more advanced features offered. The Easy Bars showing up be default is one way to help people understand what the plugin can help you do. It should only occur 1 time when you first load TonicBars on a character, after that it'll leave them in what ever state they were in. You can remove them and they SHOULDN'T reappear. If they do, LET ME KNOW, that's not intended.

You might not like the answer (although I think Beta2 is pretty stable) but the Beta stuff should fully address your problem. If it does not, please let me know. I should have included a v2.3.2 but really wanted to get the Beta stuff out to everyone. I've been working on Inventory Bars off and on for over a month (Mostly conceptual, aka, how can I make it work and make it usable) and wanted to get a working version out for people to start playing with.

I did, and left a ticket @ http://lotro.curseforge.com/addons/tonicbars/

Here are the errors I get.

Just DLed the redo and going to try it now. And in answer to your question, No, when I 1st DLed and installed Beta2 I didn't delete the old Tonicbars folder. However after getting a big long list of errors in game, I went and looked in the plugin folder and saw the 2nd Tonic folder. I got rid of it and still got the one error that I posted. Thanks again for your prompt response. I have to say that you are so far the most dedicated plugin creator I've seen. I use Palantir, Buffbars (just for the slider indicator), Emo, Songbook, WardenEase, DailyTasks, AltInventory, UIBuilder, LotroPad, Lyrical, and I've looked into all of the one bag plugins. Of them all, yours has had the most innovative input, usefulness, and timely development of any I've seen

Creep Compatible?

When I tried to load TonicBars on my Warg, I got the following error message:

Currently experiencing a problem with triggers. I had an older copy (version unknown but it was non beta) and all the triggers were grayed out. Didn't seem to matter what I did they stayed that way. All the triggers are effected, including the class triggers, I just cant put a check mark in the box. I just upgraded to your beta in hopes that I could finally use the triggers and its the exact same problem. Everything else is fully functioning and im seeing no errors, just the triggers refuse to work.

Im not sure what to try anymore, I reinstalled several times and each time i completely deleted the folder. Would love to use some of those triggers on my captain, any ideas?

Edit: Ignore this...im so stupid. I had no idea I had to set the bar visibility to triggered.
