I saw the same problems as Lilarcor reported under points 1.-3. and, sadly, had to give up. I Play with a German client - could these problems be related to the locale settings and their different formats, as discussed elsewhere here in these forums?

I need this plugin very much. I play on a laptop so screen area is always a problem for me.

So these extension bars must be what I need. I want to make a bar containing food, crafting skills, travel skills, and such but haven't managed to yet. I downloaded the latest version.

Here is what I do, and what I get,

1. I create a quickslot bar. It can move freely by gripping the bar title.
2. Then right click it, turn it into an extension bar. Now when trying to move it the title stays still, but the bar itself moves awkward.
3. I select orientation as right or left, but it still stays at vertical.
4. When I drag skills on it, it only acts as a standart bar. No extension.
5. Then I try to use a template like hunter travel, all those skills come on the bar, most I dont have since I'm level 27.
6. But the bar has no function like an extension bar. All those skills stay in a vertical bar, which I always select left or right orientation.
6. Finally the bar and the skills always stay as transparent.

Please help me, because it looks like a great plugin. The menu, everything seems like alot of effort got into it.

Three days i tried to find a solution, then i posted here.

I then changed in my regional settings the decimal symbol from comma to dot and voila everything works (i use customized regional settings).

And of course it was not at all the issue of Tonicbars (i just use only this plugin and thought it was).

Hi, i have issues using TonicBars lately. I returned to Lotro after few months pause. Before i used TonicBars without any issue. Now everytime i try to load it, i get this error message:

/[EN-RP] Laurelin/AllCharacters/TonicBarSettings.plugindata:14: ']' expected near ','
..\Plugins\Tonic\TonicBars\SettingsManager.lua:28: Unable to parse file!

It started after i tried to add new slot. It seems it corupted the configuration file. I did not have backup, so i started from beginning, but now i can only load tonicbars only if the configuration file TonicBarSettings.plugindata is not in folder plugindata\..\[EN-RP] Laurelin\AllCharacters. If its already there, i get the error message.

Someone is experiencing this behaviour?

A quick suggestion for a future update: an option to also display the bar title, even if not in update mode.

The Version on Curse Forge works Great. The only problem Ive had was making Extensions. I found if I install 2.4 and make them then upgrade back to the newer version they work fine.

I just hope they continue to improve this.

I'll try that, thank you. Might do what the other person mentioned and go back to 2.4.

I mostly just use it for mounts and travel anyways, I might go find stand alone options for each of those and just do that. I'll miss some of the options on other characters, like LM pets, but I don't really play the other characters much anymore, as I'm sure this person doesn't play much anymore either.

If the newer code is at curse, is that where we should be loitering for more and the most updated add-ons?

Hello there first I would like to say thank you for your efforts and time in making this plugin.
I tried V2.5b and it seems to mesh with Dragbars 1.3 just fine.

However I have had to revert to Tonicbars v2.4 so that I can use bar extensions seens how they are not working in v2.5b.

With v2.4 and Dragbars 1.3 I get nothing being able to move. Infact I do see the DragbarsDemo 1,2,3 but when I type in /plugins load Dragbars or /plugins load Dragbar I get unable to load plugin?

Any Ideas please?

Tried r120 as well can not make extensions

When Curseforge is up again, you could try to download R120, with fixed the problem with itemps dropping of slots for me. (Btw 2.5 Beta2 is R119).

Well thankfully I had a backup from Sunday. I restored it, and it's back to everything being there, except the missing sword and missing 3 horses. The Thorin's Hall link is there.

So I'll just have to start every day adding them back. Of course I can't add any more to it or touch it. I think I'll login all my chars and write down their tool bar configurations before I lose everything, just in case.

I've been working since release without any significant issues, and recently (few days, don't remember if it happened with the summer festival patch, but definitely after I got my 3 new horses for pre-ordering) I added 3 new horses to an extension bar and every morning they are gone.

Then, my hunter port to Thorin's kept dropping from a different extension. Again, added it back, with the 3 horses on the other bar, and again they are missing this morning, along with a sword I put on a 3rd extension.

So I tried to go into options and add a new extension bar, horses 2. I didn't see any option for making it 'tall and skinny' (my other bars all roll 'up' and are only 1 wide and as tall as they need to be, some nearly as tall as the screen). That was ugly, so I removed it. Left editing, and now I can't click on the 'main' bar that has all the extensions (which I called 'Hunter').

Go back to settings, click the drop down for quick slots, and the name is gone. Leave settings...no nothing.

So I'm going to try to rename the data file and rebuild everything from scratch, I guess. Sadly I'll lose all the other character data as well. Not sure what is causing it to fall apart like this, but thought you should know.

This particular bug was fixed in the 2.5 beta release... which had/has other problems.

If you go to the Curse Forge page (see the last line of the instructions above)
you can download R120, which seems to be stable and fixes that issue.

I had the same problem when I first started using TB...

Its at the bottom of the General Settings page. -- check the box.
It's somewhat "confusing" as the box with "yes" seems to be standing alone...
but the heading is in fancy script just above and to the right -- "Display Launcher?"

That toggles the display of the "Goblet" (which defaults to the Upper-Left of the screen.

Note also, when the plugin first loads the reminder message is displayed in the chat window...

Can you make Tonic bars so that it will switch out bars? Like for Hunter at ranged it will 1-0 set up with archery skills, and if I get into melee range it will switch to another bar using 1-0 with melee skills on it.

Am I explaining that correctly? I think it was called paging in WoW's Bartender4 mod.
