I love this plugin, but since the upgrade in the game, I can't use it any more. It crashes the game when I loot, or try to use a health pot. Also the mini has changed and the Anthem will no longer pop up as they used to. I thank this is doing that as the level one and two Ballads and gone away.
I would love to start using this again, so if some one chould help me out with getting this fixed, I would be greatful....

Did you not read the Red Letter Text at the Top of the page? This is a known Turbine issue released with ROI and will be fixed in a future patch.

Has anyone seen comments on this morning's (9/30) patch?
So far, I have not been able to find any comment from Turbine about the content of this morning's patch (20 Sept). i.e. did it address the Lua issue?
Other items...
Have run for a total of about 12 hours with 2.6 ...no crashes.
Manager/Tonic Bars/Travel active plugins.
BuffBars still causes crash (I haven't figured out how to turn off the inventory stuff.)

The Turbine
Just for the record...
From: Known Issues for Rise of Isengard - Updated: 9-28-11
LUA
* Plugins that call the inventory will cause the LOTRO client to crash. Disabling these plugins will let the client run normally.
So far, I have not seen (found) any update about this morning's patch (30 Sept.) And Narrel has not yet posted the Documentation for the ROI Lua enhancements.

I cannot find ANY reference to this morning's "event" on the Forums, let alone multiple postings.
(I assume it was on some buried thread like the Lifting of the NDA, which was not made until about 2 weeks after the Twit that lifted it.)
[I'd love to read what Turbine has/had to say about it if you can post the url.]
The original Turbine announcement was typically terse:
"All worlds will be brought down at 8:00 AM Eastern (-4 GMT) for a restart. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!"
And just for the record. Turbine's Patches DO NOT necessarily require Client patches. Many of them are strictly "server side," and are accomplished by a
"Server Reboot." There is really no other reason for a "Server Reboot" ... at least one hopes they are not trying to run the Game Servers using Windows.
During the beta, there was quite a bit of patching done strictly by Server Reboots.
Client side patches tend to be primarily about Graphics related issues.
Where the "woking" Lua code resides (not the plugins, but the calls), I have no idea.
But given the "persistent state" information maintained on the Game Servers one has to assume that it is all on the Server Side. (Contents of your backpack, for instance, is maintained on the Server.)
It is possible that Turbine was still reeling from the DNS issues when ROI went live. Networking problems usually do require server reboots.
Similarly, one would hope that hardware reconfiguration does not require a Server Restart.

If you search the Dev Tracker on the forums you will find the info you seek. Also Sapience posted on Twitter this very morning the same info... Its all out there in the Cloud. Nothing was done that we needed to know about... Simply a reboot.

Keybinding? Double Keybinding?
Right at the Moment I use Tonicbars to swap Handheld Items.
I made a bar with an One-Hand Weapon, a Shield and a Two-Hand Weapon. Because I'm a Friend of Details and Roleplay I added the Shovel, Pan and a Tankard so I can equip these while cooking, farming or Drinking.
This works fine.
But People are lazy, I started to ask myself if it would be possible to add Key-Bindings to the shortcutbars. And to push it a little bit further:
The Client won't let us use the same Key for two different things, can a plugin do so?
For Example: I equip a Slot with my One-Hand-Weapon, a second slot with my Shield. Both Slots get the same Keybinding, lets say "x", so when I press "x" Both My One-Hand-Weapon AND my Shield are "used" (equiped).
Or another Example: I use "x" to select my Outfit for Cooking. With a slot in tonicbars and a Keybinding "x" to that slot I would be able to equip the pan in the same Moment when I change the Outfit.
Is it possible to change the Item in the Slot by clicking on the Slot? So I click on the Slot equipped with my One-Handed (Buff) Weapon. Its equipped now. It would be great if the Slot itself changes to display my Two-Hand-Weapon now so that I need to display only one Slot but can change between two or more Items.

Sadly, there are no keybinding's. That's been the most requested feature to be added to TonicBars and sadly, I can't help you! Turbine doesn't allow it because of the possible Bot problems from doing that. They don't want you automatting "too much".

Is there any way to save previous settings when going to a new version? Or do you just have to set up everything from scratch again?

Firstly, the plugin should seamlessly transition settings when up-grading plugin versions (It should not do that on down grades).
Second, Make sure to always save your PluginData folder before upgrading, in case you need to down-grade (because the plugin doesn't downgrade automatically).
Thirdly, Are you seeing issues regarding this?

Hello,
I like this plugin, but: I am able to load it, but as soon at is creates a "plugindata" folder, I get this error when I try to load it again:
AllCharacters/TonicBarSettings.plugindata:10: ']' expected near ','
...s Online\Plugins\Tonic\TonicBars\SettingsManager.lua :22: Unable to parse file!
Is there anything I can do ?
Thanks a lot!

No issues. I haven't even tried to upgrade yet cause I was worried about having to redo my settings. Glad to hear that is not the case ![Smile](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/smile.gif) And thanks for the tip about saving the PluginData folder.

Thank you for this great plug in
On my warden one bar cannot be removed, and some other are not correctly displayed in tonicbars option panel.
