This looks like a great plugin and it looks like it would replace two of my favorite plugins that haven't been updated since everything broke on Nov 29th. However, I downloaded the newest version and when I login on LOTRO and type /plugins list, Tonic is not listed. It's also not listed in the plugin manager within LOTRO even though all of my other plugins are listed.

I read somewhere in the comments something about the new version not working unless you had installed the older one, so I also downloaded the next previous version, extracted that one into my plugins folder and then extracted the newest version again on top of it and it still just doesn't show up in my plugins list to load. I've tried loading it anyhow even though it doesn't show and sure enough it just doesn't exist to load.

Any ideas? I haven't run into this problem with any other plugins I've tried.

Great plugin!

I can't seem to get the trigger for Idome to work either when active or when not active. The other triggers seem to work ok. Am I doing something wrong?

As to

1) I could make it so that you can use ANY key... but I wouldn't be able to tell you what key you chose. :P

2) Sorry, the API doesn't support hotkey functionality. I wish it did, it's the most requested feature addition.

That's the issue. What you need to do is go into the "/Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/Tonic/TonicBars/Localization/German/Champion.lua" and correct the skill names. Send it to me when you are done and I'll include the translation in the next release.

Thanks. I've been playing now for 3 and 1/2 years. Don't plan on stopping now... although I don't get much game time while developing this... so I tend to do a little... spend some in game... then come back and do more here... I'm currently spending a little time in game.

A superb plugin! Thanks a lot for creating it!

One think I can't seem to figure out is how to trigger bars, e.g. my champion has a defeat response.
I created a bar, selected not visible and as trigger option "defense response". Unfortunately the bar does not show up when I get kill a mob which should trigger the defense response.

I am using a German client, so this might be caused because the "trigger" is named in German.

Does anyone have an advise how I fix this?

This is a great plugin. I have 2 possible enhancements/questions:

1. Could you add the Windows Key along with Ctrl, Shift, Alt for showing/hiding bars? I use this with the current bars in game and it works well using all 4.

2. Is it possible to add hotkey functionality? That would make this addon PERFECT.

Thanks Frellco. It's on my list of things to do... with the new patch, there are a LOT more goodies I have uncovered and I'll be adding those shortly as well... People should like these, because I don't think the rest of the community has found them yet. :P

Hey NT, you need to set things so you can trap the right clicks without triggering the skill during "edit" phase.

I find it very easy to accidentally delete bars when I'm trying to use the pulldown menu. Could you add a confirmation window when you press the delete button?

I've got a 65 burg, everything seems to work as it should. I tried it multiple times now and the bar pops like I expect it to.

I can't seem to reproduce this either. All of my characters settings are working as they should. If you are referring to the fact that I don't use the "wrapperSettings.plugindata" file anymore that's correct, I moved the data into the standard settings file. But that was a few releases ago.

Can you please send me your Settings file. It's located in "/lord of the rings online/pluginsdata/<username>/<servername>/AllCharacters/TonicBarSettings.plugindata" send it to: [email protected]

Something is funny about your settings and I can't seem to reproduce it. The last person I had to tell to delete this file, but I'd rather correct the problem than have to have them delete it. Thanks.
