Just making sure, are you using the latest version 0.53 and the hta file that came with it to build the library? There has been quite many versions in a short time and I rather use the latest version for any troubleshooting .

-Chiran

Yes I am. I've used this plugin since version .1 and it worked fine with the vbs script. I think I may know what I did. I have two accounts and I wanted to create a songbook for both accounts. So I used the new .hta builder for both login names. I'm not sure if this matters though cause it created a folder for both usernames but I've been unable to use the plugin ever since I did this. I even deleted the songbook plugin and plugins data directories and reinstalled the newest version of songbook but it didn't correct the problem. Let me know if there's any more info I can provide to help you replicate this. Thank you.

Yes, you are probably right. As I'm from the EU side, I don't really put plugins into 'real' use. I just have an account there for debugging .

I'm getting the following error when attempting to load it in game.

"Online\Plugins\Chiran\Songbook\SongbookWindow.lua :21: Unable to parse file!"

I ran the program to build my songbook first and it seemed to work but I'm unable to load the plugin. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've already modified my local copy of the plugin to hide the window by default (Main.lua, change the first setVisible(true) to setVisible(false)). Just thought I'd mention it in case others wanted to do the same thing (or make that the standard).

Ahhh O.K. I have used other plugins before (only 2) and I have not need to get those files as of yet. Now that I have em, it works great.

I also see that this was already answered in another post, sorry!

Ah, you just need the Turbine plugin package. Plugins are still beta so there's some extra steps . It's good to read this but basically you need to download this package and extract into your Documents\Lord of the Rings Online directory.

"...of the Rings Online\Plugins\Chiran\Songbook\Main.lua:4: Unable to resolve package "Turbine.Debug"."

The directory/file list, when extracted is as follows:

Chiran\
..\Songbook
oolannnin_muti.abc
songbook.hta
Songbook.plugin
songbook_readme.txt

Chiran\Songbook\
_init_.lua
arrowdown.tga
arrows.tga
arrowup.tga
icn_m.tga
icn_m_hover.tga
icn_p.tga
icn_p_hover.tga
icn_r.tga
icn_r_hover.tga
icn_s.tga
ign_s_hover.tga
icn_ss.tga
ign_ss_hover.tga
Main.lua
SongBookWindow.lua

I like the idea and would love to spread the word about it as I play with just about every Minstrel I meet (I love multi-part songs!), but I cannot do so if I cannot get it to work for myself. I hope this gets resolved soon, I am drooling over the idea of click and play!

Hey, that's super neat! I was also thinking about an icon but didn't get there yet. And I'm sure it wouldn't have been as cool as this .

Ah sorry got this wrong. You probably had an early version of the .hta file. I uploaded a new version to the same place here. Latest version is from today.

I'm actually pretty confident that the hta file now works well and I encourage everyone, especially those having problems with the vbs, to start using it. I will probably package it instead of the vbs in the next version.

I have no songs in the Song book when it loads. any ideas?
Do you have version 0.50 and no music files in the root (/Music) directory? If so then please download version 0.51.

My plugins data does show my Libary built under my user name in all servers. but not in Elendimir?
That means that you will have the same song library no matter which server or character you log into.

Yes, it's not fatal but I've been meaning to fix that. Lotropad tries to save all settings when the plugin is unloaded, but I suspect there's something fishy with Turbine's implementation.
