It seems this workaround doesn't work anymore in 3.0.1 Whenever I add the specified code (either after --Set Combat or -- Guardian's Ward, it still displays the indicator out of combat). Same if I tick in setup options (Options "hide" "dim" and "early warning")That solution worked brilliantly in 3.0.0 Do you know how to achieve same results in this version?

Ok, figured out what's going on with the mini - I wiped out the settings file and tried again. This time I saw the following error:
...s Online\Plugins\KragenPlugs\KragenBars\MiniBars.lua :145: attempt to index field 'ChorusofRestoration' (a nil value)

I suspect that this error showed up the first time as well, and I just missed it. After this error popped up, I started getting the previously reported error while trying to load Kragenbars.

Looking at line 145, you're using ChorusofRestoration as the index, but above where you define the skill you're using SongofRestoration. I looked at my mini's spell lists, and I have a Song of Restoration, not a chorus. So I changed line 145 appropriately, and bingo I've got working bars.

Not probably going to get a chance to look at the champ or guard tonight... it's late (early), and I need to crash.

Weird, haven't seen that before. If trashing the settings (the plugin cannot be loaded when doing this) doesn't solve it then I will do some testing tomorrow to see if I can reproduce the issue.

What level is your Guard/Champ?

Stance strangeness, problems with ministrel

With the new version, I cannot get the stance bar to display for my Champion or my Guardian... or more correctly, I cannot get one to show a stance or allow me to interact with it other than to be able to drag it around when I've got the GUI set to moveable. The checkbox for the stance bar is checked, and the bar itself is there when I go to move the GUI, but nothing ever appears there and it just hides when I toggle the GUI back to locked.

In addition, I'm getting the following when I attempt to load the plugin on my ministrel (the plugin fails to load):

I am unable to reproduce this behavior. You cant drag the skills into the Banner 3 and Armament slot at all? Try deleting your settings file in Documents/Lord of the Rings Online/PluginData/AccountName/CharacterName/. It will be the file called KragenBarsSettings.plugindata and see if that solves the issue. Unfortunately it will mean resetting up your settings.

It should have nothing to do with the levels. I also cannot reproduce this. Make sure you have the checkboxes labelled Caltrops and Stun Dust enabled in your quickslots tab. Failing that maybe try clearing your settings file as mentioned above.

2) The problem you are describing is likely related to a similar problem with Captain quickslots. A fix for that should be coming in an update in the nexy day or two.

Hi Kragenbar,
first let me say thankyou for this great plugin!
I am using it on all my characters (Altoholic you know ... ) - and now tried out the new version first on my Captain. Works fine, but I noticed something of which I am not sure if it is a bug or just me:

On the Quickslot setup panel, I can only put a banner in Banner 1 and Banner 2 slots - there is no way to put in a banner/armament in the Banner 3 and Armament slot - they just dont accept anything. Or am I doing something wrong?

Its not a huge deal, as Salt The Wound is not activated in anyway, but if it had active features that triggered based on conditions it may throw errors if you completely remove the line declaring it.

For now, if your comfortable editing the lua (which number 2 suggests you are) under:

-- Set Combat States
self.skills["ThrillOfDanger"]:SetCombat( true, false );
self.skills["GuardiansPromise"]:SetCombat( false, true );
self.skills["SummonTinker"]:SetCombat( false, true );

just add:
self.skills["GuardiansWard"]:SetCombat(true, false);

You should be able to safely do this for any skills you want to be incombat only.


2- I wouldn't recommend just commenting out or removing skill lines. It may cause issues (salt the wound you are safe to do that for now). Another option is to just change it to:
self.skills["SaltTheWound"] = SkillSlot(self.bars["ParryTier3"], 2, 1, true, 100, "0x7000D4AF");

this will make it no longer appear, but wont cause any issues. We do plan on adding more options to customize the bars and skills like making it so you can change the size of bars and remove skill from them.

3 - For the Shield Spikes quickslot, you need to have Class Items enabled in button bars, and make sure the checkbox is checked beside each quickslot you are using.

4- KragenSlots is combatable, as you mentioned you just need to have DUInterface and KragenSlots folders inside your KragenPlugs folder. Additionally KragenSlots still requires the Turbine Folder as well as Deusdictums DragBar files, where KragenBars does not.

Thank you also for providing the solution about in combat triggers, that is all I was looking for, indeed it is the matter of personal preference.

I also noticed that the wound indicator does not pop, which bar does it require to be activated?

Once again, I would like to thank you Sirs for providing this bombastic plugin, it make me able to try guard class once again. I am colorblind and it was always very difficult to notice parry/block indicators. Thank you hugely.
