thank you, that got that solved I do have one other question just cause I am not sure about it, but the drag a skill to kragenbars that was not encoded, wold that work to add the port to galtrev in the scroll list of hunter ports?

Line 336 of LM relates to converting previous versions of the plugindata to the current version. It looks like something might be missing from your current LM's plugindata. Rename the plugindata for your LM and try again. It should create a new plugindata file:

My Documents\Lotro\PluginData\<AccountName>\<ServerNa me>\<CharacterName>\KragenBars.plugindata

Either delete or rename above file (while KragenBars is NOT loaded), then launch KB again.

I continue to receive this error when trying to load Kragen Bars on my LM, I will test my hunter and Captain since I have just now up dated to 5.06 from 4.12 but they both had no issues.

If you haven't already done so, try reloading the plugin. Right after you obtain a new skill, you have to reload to get it to fully refresh.

If that doesn't help, try browsing to your Documents\Lotro\PluginData\<account>\<server>\<cha racter> folder and renaming KragenBars.plugindata to KragenBars.plugindata.old (do this while the plugin is NOT loaded); then try launching the plugin and see if that works for you.

I'm afraid not. Turbine has not exposed keybinding to LUA plugins.

Admittingly, I think we haven't been using the Refresh routine in a while so results may vary. However, when I level-up, I usually do /plugins unload, remove the items that got automatically put on my bar, then reload plugins. This will do a full refresh of KB.

Might I also recommend Bootstrap. You can just do a Reload Bootstrap w/ that plugin and it will automatically refresh all plugins.

So, i just reached 74 with my guardian and hopefully found the last bug (at least for guardian and for english client) ^^
At 74 you get "Improved Guardian's Defence" replacing "Guardian's Defence". Sadly the stance selector doesn´t upgrade even after i used "refresh level"

CANCEL that...

After a restart of the game everything functioned as intended.

I know KB has a few loyal users who are also using the German or French clients who don't seem to be having the same problem as Minniwinni. So I would be interested to know what the difference is. If you are using the German or French client, please let me know what server you are on and whether you are having similar trouble to Minniwinni.

I'm assuming that the line number after the plugindata is always different (in above example it is line 19). Could you please reproduce the problem, then reply here with the line number (like above), as well as the section of your Documents\Lotro\<Accnt>\<Server>\<Character>\Krage nBarsSettings.plugindata file from about 10 lines before to 10 lines after the line mentioned (including the line mentioned... so a total of 21 lines).

Ok,sounds like this has to do with the encoding/decoding function. English client stores values with a '.' while french and german client store values with a ','. So Kragenwar wrote some encoding/decoding functions to convert values stored by the french/german client into english values, then re-encode them back when saving. I know he worked on that for quite a while and had some help troubleshooting it. He was confident all bugs had been squashed, but sounds like you are still having trouble.

Since I didn't work on that section of KB, it will take me some time to take it apart and understand what is being done.

I use a german client, and the problem appears with every class (exept warden ^^)

Following error message appears when i want to launch kragen bars without deleating the "KragenBarsSettings.plugindata"

...Rings Online\Plugins\KragenPlugs\KragenBars\Main.lua:22: Unable to parse file!

When i deleate it, i can launch kragen bars once, the next time, the error message appears again
(sry if i made some spelling mistakes, my english isn't the best (any more)^^)

i ll stay here and watch the posts if u need any further details from me

Edit: Still was using V4.12, i updated now to newest verstion... maybe it helps

I scrolled back a ways and I'm afraid I couldn't find a post where you initially reported a problem. If you are having a problem, please describe what steps you took to reproduce the problem and the exact error message received (typically it will have a line number in it). As Bundori mentioned, it would also be useful to know what class you are having a problem with.
