I had previously posted that I did not intend to publish a patch for the November update and that the plugin would cease to function until ver 2.0 is released in December which would fix that as well as being a major overhaul of the plugin. As it happens, I changed my mind since the overhaul will take several more weeks and I wanted to get the Category Filter functioning, so ver 1.13 has been uploaded, it just hasn't passed LoTROInterface.com's tests to be released for downloads yet (not sure what the hold up is, they're usually pretty quick to scan and release the plugins). There were several minor changes in addition to the LocalPlayer:GetInstance() change so, unless you like chasing icons with your mouse and having them run away (seriously, I didn't forsee THAT glitch) it is worth waiting for it to be released rather than trying to modify it yourself.
Edit: It's been "Pending" for 3 hours now, I think they are overwhelmed by the number of plugins being changed...

Thanks for the feedback.

Turbine has not yet granted Lua plugins access to Equipped items or Vault or any storage other than bags, so for now, bags are it. As soon as Turbine gives access to any other storage, it will definately be added to Alt Inventory. Please post your interest in this on the official Lotro forums (it's been asked for many times, but it never hurts for the devs to know that even more people want it):

I would've stopped here, but I noticed an odd bug while using this plugin. I have characters named Loriedor and Loriebel and somehow their data is mixed up on the Item Quanity Tracking. Items that I have on both characters, Loriedor and Loriebel, show that I only have them on Loriebel. Items that I only have on either of the characters show correctly.

I'm using the latest version of this plugin.
Thanks for the feedback.

That's an interesting bug. I'll have to do a bit of digging to see if I can reproduce it. I am in the process of redesigning the list display mechanism to fix a memory issue and rewriting most of the plugin from scratch, so it will be quite some time before the next update (sometime after the November patch). Please be advised that the plugin will cease to function after the November patch until the next release, probably a couple weeks after the patch since RL is keeping me pretty busy.

Thanks for the feedback.
You encountered the "locale" bug. Turbine saves all values using the OS "locale" settings (specifically, commas instead of periods for decimal places), but they don't get read back in correctly by default. I'm glad to hear the Vindar patch works for you.

Added ability to accept Drag/Drop items (at present they are simply put into the first slot of the underlying bags, bumping what ever was there to the first empty slot)

Not clear at all what drag and drop is for--why would I drag items since presumably all my items are already inventoried? And the replace bags option? Completely clueless about that one....
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you are enjoying Alt Inventory.

Drag and drop is for dragging items from other containers such as the vault and vendor windows (well buyback at least). I don't personally drag items that way, but apparently some people do so I enabled it.

The Replace Bags option does exactly what it sounds like, it replaces the built in Bags. When that option is off, Alt Inventory can display alongside the built in bags (handy for looking at alt's items while still seeing your current inventory at the same time), when the option is on, the built-in bags will not display and Alt Inventory becomes the only inventory view.

That conclusion was wrong. I have space left in my back when that error come so it must be something else...
But i can wait till that November update and your new version because that plug still work and i can see my staff on other char.
Thank you
