New version 3.0 in testing
Now that there is no level cap on tasks, the rep contribution is a lot more significant. I'm working on a new version of DT that adds a reputation window where you can select task items by rep contribution and I'm also improving the rep filtering options.
I've got the basic additions working, but I'm still tweaking the code so that option combinations display better. I hope to have it ready soon.

Version 3.0
Ok, here's the big reputation update. I think I've found all the significant defects, but there's probably some combination of selections that I missed testing now that there are so many variations available. If you find anything that doesn't seem to work right, please let me know.
There are many changes, but most of them only pertain to reputation. The non-rep changes include changing some of the display colors to improve readability and making error messages more prominent. Another change is that selecting an alternate character name now does more than just change the level setting; it also makes the task listing from that character's perspective so the selected name won't appear on the alt list for a task, but the current character will.
Of course, the big change is to reputation. I've replaced the "Rep use" window with a "Kindred Rep" window where checking the box now indicates that you have kindred reputation with that group. If you had set any of these in a previous version, they will automatically be converted to the new system.
When using the R-O check box, it now completely hides tasks that don't produce rep increases for the selected character. The alt name list for tasks now properly lists only those alts that will also get a rep increase. (Note that you have to visit all your alts with the new version of DT and set kindred rep for this to work.)
The most noticeable change is the addition of a Reputation window. The easiest way to open this is to click the "Rep window" button in the main DT window. From there you can select any of the reputation groups and when you click the "List rep locations" button, all the task boards that have tasks for that rep group will be listed.
The "List rep items" button will display the trophies that can used to increase reputation for the selected group. The Filter selection from the DT window will also be applied. If R-O is checked, then only the corresponding items in your inventory will be listed. This is particularly handy when you are trying to increase reputation with a specific group.
The "List rep code" button was just moved from the main window and hasn't changed in function. The "Kindred rep" button is just a convenient way to open the "Kindred rep" window.
Lastly, I've revised the ReadMe file to reflect all the changes. Be sure to read this to get the specifics on how everything works.
Note: The "DailyTasks_Rep.plugindata" files that used to store rep data on a per-character basis are now obsolete and can be deleted after the information has been converted to the new format. If you don't know where to find them, don't worry, it only uses up 1k of disk space per character.

Two clients on one account
![Confused](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/confused.gif) I have two clients on one account and I have just discovered that the second client will not load daily tasks. I get two errors when I attempt /plugins load dailytasks: 1; "/AllCharacters/DailyTasks_Settings.plugindata:1: unexpected symbol" and 2; "...he Rings Online\Plugins\Vinny\DailyTasks\DT_Main.lua:25: Unable to parse file!". Has anyone else had this problem?
A second question: I had to transfer the read.txt file from an older version of DailyTasks as the file was not included in version 3.0.

Is your second client on a different computer? There error indicates that the Tasks_Settings.plugindata is corrupted so you should delete it and let DT create a new one. Unfortunately, this will require reentering the player rep info if you can't copy it from another computer.
I just checked and the ReadMe file is indeed missing from the .zip so I must have had the file open in the editor when I created the .zip file. I'll be sure to fix this on the next update.

Hmmm... I reloaded everything after removing everything. I think the problem is the name of the second client on the account. It is different from the account name. Anyway, I figured out a work around as I dual box all the time so I am just using the 'trailer' character as my DT monitor.

Update 14
I've found the 5 new Task Boards in the new West Gondor region and have added them to the locations table, but I'm still working on finding the item IDs for the new trophy items. I hope to have it ready to release soon.

Version 3.1 (Update 14)
I've added the 5 new Task Boards in West Gondor. Only two of the 6 new tasks are for new trophy items. There is also a new rep. group for these tasks.
I'm guessing that the minimum level for the new tasks is 91, but I didn't want to delay the release until I could verify the level (my level 89 couldn't see them). If someone finds that the minimum level is different, please let me know.

It depends on what you mean by "work". Obviously there is no German localization, however, it still should run on a German client. Its uses item ID for trophy items, so it should still be able to recognize them, but it won't be able to match them by their German name, so it will have reduced functionality.
I'd say try it out and see if you find it usable.

Level 100
In my hurry to release, I forgot to increase the max level to 100. If your are above level 95, you will need to change the level selected back to 95 until I post the next version. I'm waiting a couple of days to see if there is anything else that also needs fixing and if anyone can verify the minimum level for Gondor tasks.

Missing task @ Barachen's Camp
Hi, I saw that Barachen's Camp (Trollshaws, TH rep) has a task for fine skins which DT does not list.
I have no idea if that was a recent addition to the board or not - just accidentally saw it today.
Thanks for the good work ![Smile](//www.lotrointerface.com/images/style_mmoi_lotroi/smilies/smile.gif)

Thanks, it looks like another undocumented change with the last update... I'll add it to the next version which I'm currently getting ready to release.

Version 3.1.3
Ok, here are some followup corrections. I raised the max level to 100, added Fine Skin @ Barachen's Camp and adjusted most task levels in Eregion and Forochel. It looks like the new lower task levels came as an undocumented change with Update 14, but its hard to tell.
I have characters with levels at 41 and 38 that I was able to verify most reduced levels with, however, I wouldn't be surprised if those that are now listed as 41 are actually 40 and some of the 38s could be even lower. Please let me know of any other tasks that you find that are different than listed.
I'll be doing spot checks in other locations.
