Something is amiss with the Task Bulletin Board in Oatbarton. I went there with a level 28 character and 5 of the expected tasks didn't show up! I checked with a level 32 and got the expected tasks. I'd like to check the tasks available at level 26, but the closest one I have is a 24, so it will have to wait for now.

Update: Ok, I had a level 26 friend check his available tasks and they showed up properly, so it looks like its a case of tasks not being available for the 4 levels above the quest level of the task. I'm submitting a bug report on this.

1. This is a known bug in the API for all plugins. Reload DT and it will show up.

2. DT has no way to detect what quests you have, so it can't determine that you can turn them in. As my chars play with few free quest slots, I rarely pick up task quests until I'm ready to turn them in.

Awesome plugin! Just awesome.

Two things:
1. The plugin doesn't seem to register my Leathery Fur at all. Just simply omits it completely from the result.
2. This may be impossible for the plugin to detect, but for tasks that I still have the quest for, but have out-levelled, it doesn't seem to understand that the items are still usable or tasks completable.

It has been implemented already. Just execute command: /dtw auto
To toggle it on or off.

I had the same question some time ago I think Vinny should write this command on this page in commands examples instead of HelpFile in plugin package.

As I warned in the install instructions, the Turbine extensions are required, so you'll need to install them. You can either d/l the .7z file from LOTRO or the .zip version at the link I provided.

When i try to load it it says ngs Online\Plugins\MyPlugins\DailyTasks\DT_Main.lua:34 : Failed to import package "MyPlugins.DailyTasks.DT_Window". and ...gs Online\Plugins\MyPlugins\DailyTasks\DT_Window.lua: 5: Unable to resolve package "Turbine.UI.Extensions".

Something in your "DailyTasks_Settings.plugindata" file (located in ..\PluginData\<account>\<server>\AllCharacters) is invalid. Delete the file and try again (you'll need to redo your settings).

I have a problem with the new version:

If I try to load the plugin (manually via chat command or with manager) I get the following message:

Older version (think it is 1.3?) without window support works.

I'm playing on a european server.

Any idea?

I've been busy improving DT again with more fixes and enhancements.

I've added another filter so that you can list only junk items (with no known task) to sell to a vendor. I've also improved the tracker feature (/dtt) so that it now tracks changes to existing trophy stacks, not just new ones. Now you can monitor the completion of sets as you are gathering them.

The biggest enhancement is mainly for those with alts. After listing items (such as unusable or usable by another player), you can now have DT move them to another bag so that it is easy to just drop them into shared storage for your alt. (no need now to search thru your bags to pick out the desired ones).

I'm getting close to the end of features to add to DT and have already started work on a new plugin with a deed reference (such as where to find things). I start to do a crafting reference, but until crafting support is added to the API, there would be to much manual effort needed.

I'm disappointed at how little was fixed with Monday's patch. I've reported over half a dozen defects in the Task system last month and only one of them was fixed. I'm updating the known problems documentation in DT to reduce some of the confusion they can cause.

I'm also working on some more enhancements to DT that I plan to release later this week.
