Pure Black Fur
I don't see Pure Black Fur listed, you do have Pure Black Skin. The only place that I have come across it so far is in Kauppa-kohta ( Forochel ).
15 pieces Lvl 42 task.
Thanks for a great program.

Great stuff. If you're not a level 65, this is the best and most essential plugin around.

Version 1.5
I've been enhancing the window functionality.
First, you can now toggle the auto-open feature and can save the position where it opens.
Next, I've started saving the player name and level and added a player name menu so that you can set the trophy level by a player name.
Then, in the next update, I plan to add player names to the end of the trophy info to make it easier to see which of your alternate characters can use a trophy.
Note that you will need to cycle through each of your alts and load DT to register their names and levels so that DT will know about them.

If you read the Notes in the ReadMe file, you will see that you can comment out the auto-open feature if you don't like it.

Hi,

I use Plugin Manager and all my plugins are loaded at once. So I had to close DailyTasks Window every time. A little bit annoying..

Just wanted to say thanks for a great plugin. It's a great help for sure. It's a pity Turbine didn't have the entire game data driven so that they could expose this kind of data as well as other things.
As for the directory structure, I usually end up modifying it myself. I like to see the plugin name as the top folder in the plugins directory instead of author name or some other random text. It would be nice if the plugin author community could develop a standard and then stick to it. All in all not a big deal for me since I can control it myself.

Note: I had originally planned to have the output from the window actions displayed in a scrollable pop-up window, but have decided that for now, it wouldn't really add enough benefit for the effort required to implement it.

I for one would love this. I might even have to look at how to do it myself. With so many trash items, the dt report gets really long and running it multiple times gets confusing to parse when in the chat window. I've resorted to creating a new tab, filtering everything but Standard, just so I could see the report results easier.
Anyway, thanks for the hard work!

Re: Re: Directory problems

The plugin main file (.plugin) should be in .../The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/DailyTasks ..so always a subdirectory of ./Plugins/
|
I second this. Every plugin should be in a unique subdirectory by either the plugin name (I prefer this) or the author's name (some do it this way when they have more than 1 plugin). Continuing to use "MyPlugins" is not the standard and a general name that makes it look like you developed this off some book example.
It's not a matter of function, but a matter of professionalism and organization. Just imagine if every plugin author continued to use "MyPlugins", it would be a complete mess.

Version 1.4
The latest version fixes a few more defects and now includes menu buttons in the DT window to select filters and locations. With these selections, you can now display most of the listings that can be requested from the command line.
Note: I had originally planned to have the output from the window actions displayed in a scrollable pop-up window, but have decided that for now, it wouldn't really add enough benefit for the effort required to implement it.

Hi,

I see... it's a pity that Turbine missed it.
I've found one small typo in location name:
IS: Tym Lhuig
SHOULD BE: Tyrn Lhuig
location in Angmar.
Greetz!

You are mistaken. It should be in .../The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins/MyPlugins or it won't work right without editing.

Generally all plugins work the way I described
Chiran's Songbook .plugin file is in .My Documents\The Lord of the Rings Online\plugins\Chiran\ for instance

According to new features. It will be nice to add "auto-detection of current location".

I agree, I've been wanting to add this for a while now. Unfortunately, the current location in not available in the current API, so the only way for DT to know it would be for you to enter it, which defeats the whole point of simplifying it.
The current way to simplify it is to add location names to a drop-down menu, which is on my to-do list.

new feature
According to new features. It will be nice to add "auto-detection of current location".
I mean currently if I'm in Augaire then I have to write for example: "/dtc Aughaire"
It will be nice to write just for example: "/dtcl" (some new shortcut)
and then /dtc command will execute with location name taken automatically from your current location (same name which is displayed under MiniMap radar).
It will be a liitle bit time saver.
"lists the items with a large enough stack to complete tasks by the current player _In Current Location_"

I must be honnest and say that i edited the file so this plugin works as other plugins about the directories.
It was too much of problem either with the manager --was not working--.
so for me its now ....DailyTasks.DailyTasks... where it was needed.
