Version 2.4 (RoR expansion)
This is the big update for the Riders of Rohan expansion. It adds 14 new locations in East Rohan as well as adding support for the new Hunter/Warden travel skills. With many new routes to time, it took a lot of riding back and forth as well as lots of cash for stable fees (adding the travel times is what took me a couple of extra days).
There are a couple of special cases: Langhold only has travel routes out and the stable disappears after completing the quest line there for your war-hourse. Hytbold is the reverse, starting as an empty ruin with no stable until you do the quests to rebuilt it. I haven't rebuilt it yet, so I don't have the travel routes for it yet.
I also haven't got the Hunter/Warden skills for Snowbourn, so they will have to wait for another update. I've done some testing to verify that Find Route works for the new locations, but I didn't want to delay this release any longer, so I haven't done extensive testing yet.
I'll post a minor update if any fixes are needed and when I have the last of the data added.

RoR expansion
I didn't get an invite beta, so I wasn't able to update my plugins ahead of time. I'll be adding the new locations, but it will take a few days to visit them and update the data.

Re: Travel routes

I love this idea, but the interface leaves some to be desired. I would like to see an easy way to find a route outside of where I currently am. For example, I was in Dunland today, and wanted to go to Mirkwood. I could not get the plugin to provide me any routes. Am I missing something?

You probably haven't set the requirements that the higher level routes need (/trw req). Plugins can't access your deed info, so you have to supply it.
If you'd like to ignore travel requirements, just click on the 'No Req' box.

Version 2.3.1
I've been working hard on adding the milestone data and finally finished. I then updated the main window to allow milestone locations to be set. These locations will then be used by the Find Nearest Start button as long as the Skip Milestones box isn't checked (used when the milestones are in cooldown).
If you want to verify the current milestone settings, enter "/trw ms".
While testing, I found that one of the previous updates had introduced a bug when listing destinations with multiple requirements. This has been fixed.

Version 2.2
I got inspired and have already added the Guide/Muster skills to the Find Best Start action. I also made a couple of minor corrections and disabled selecting skills that are beyond a player's level.
Note: when choosing between Return and Guide/Muster skills, the travelling rations cost, induction time and the time to move from the entry point to the stable is included in the calculations. I'm thinking about adding a "Skip Returns" button for cases where the return skill hasn't cooled down yet.
I've started working on adding milestone skills, but I have to visit every stable location and add the milestone level requirement and the time it takes to move from the milestone to the stable.

Re: LPC Compliance?
I've talked with the author about it and he won't support my file structure.

Version 2.1
After much work, I've added a major new feature: when finding the best route, TR can automatically consider starting at locations for which you have a "Return to" skill! These must be configured first in a new window using the "/trw rt" command. Not only will it check all these alternate starting points, it will provide a clickable icon to travel there!
For a full explanation on how to use it, BE SURE TO READ THE DOCUMENTATION, especially the part on the Find Best Start button.
I plan to add support for Hunter and Warden travel skills in future updates and eventually milestone abilities (which will involve a lot of data collection).
PS. If you claim to have a travel skill that you don't and click on the icon for, it will cause a general game error.
PPS. I don't have the Return to Stangard skill on any char yet, so I haven't got the code for the icon implemented yet.

Version 1.13.2 - update 7.
The main changes are in Moria, where 3 new stables were added, all the level minimums were lowered to 45 and several deed requirements were removed.
At Great River locations the level minimums were reduced to 70, so I was able to add the swift travel times.

Update 7 news
I just finished reading about update 7 and it looks like Moria will be getting some new travel routes. I'll be visiting the test server to check these out.
More details: There are 3 new stables and the minimum level for all locations has been reduced to 45.

Re: Doesn't work
Quote:
I followed instructions in read me, unzip to .........Plugins\MyPlugins
(same as Cate) no Commons folder was auto created by extraction.
It does not see the Commons folder in Plugins.

When properly extracted, the Plugins\MyPlugins folder should contain:
Common - folder of shared library files
TravelRef.plugin - index file for the plugin
TravelRef - folder containing the plugin

Doesn't work
I followed instructions in read me, unzip to .........Plugins\MyPlugins
(same as Cate) no Commons folder was auto created by extraction.
It does not see the Commons folder in Plugins.
As for version, I downloaded and installed (attempted) today.
Is the current zip file lacking files? Or instructions in ReadMe file incorrect?
Couldn't you just do some search and replace your paths so this addon would conform to everyone else's that use the Plugin folder?
I copied commons folder to MyPlugins, didn't work.
I copied commons folder to TravRef, didn't work.
Nothing I have tried will make it show up in plugin manager, commands in game either.
