Evendim update

Don't know if you noticed/were told... There are now

Swift Travel High Kings to Oatbarton (and back)
Swift Travel Brokenborings to Oatbarton (and back)
But you have to "re-visit" each location to unlock it!

There is also a new "stop" between Oatbarton and High Kings...
Dwaling.
ST from Oatbarton to Dwaling and back.

Dwaling has travel to:
Oatbarton 10s/50c
High Kings Crossing 10/50
Tinnudir 10/50
OstForod 10/50
ST Oatbarton 17/50
High Kings Crossing 17/50
Tinnudir 17/50
Ost Forod 17/50

Prices are probably all discounted as this toon is Kindred with Wardens of Annuminas

Also at Tinnudir is now ST to Michael Delving and West Bree that I don't remember

The st key is not mapped. This is kind of wierd. What it means?

Also, there are routes that are payed with silver coins and others with copper. So, maybe you could put the price on a key and the kind of coin on a second key. What do you think?
The st key is the swift travel time (I just had forgotten to add it to the comment).

All prices are in silver. Fractional values are converted to copper when displayed.

I'm still adding travel times to destinations. I'm sure there are still several typos, so please let me know of any errors you find. Let me know of any features that you would like to see added (find route is going to take a while).
I read that you are adding features to this plugin.

When I read the TR_DATA.lua and saw the comments about the keys used to identify the information about routes I saw some potential problems, maybe you could explain or, if it is really problematic you could fix.

Code:
-- Loc. keys: d=destinations(nil if no stable), z=zone, a=area, l=location
-- Dest. keys: c=cost, s=ST cost, l=min level(+ if ST only), r=requires, t=time
If I understood correctly, the s=ST cost, has the information about swift travel cost. But when you see the mapped rout from Thorinīs Gate to Michel Delving you will see this line

Code:
["Michel Delving"] = { s=1, st=24 }
The st key is not mapped. This is kind of wierd. What it means?

Also, there are routes that are payed with silver coins and others with copper. So, maybe you could put the price on a key and the kind of coin on a second key. What do you think?

Exclamation Version 1.10

I've been gradually adding travel times for locations in Lothlorien and Mirkwood but had been waiting for something more significant before I released another update.

I finally moved the required Turbine library routines into a Common folder for all my plugins. This removes the need to install the Turbine libraries, which should simplify things for new users.

Exclamation Version 1.9

This update adds some swift travel times and a checkbox option to swap Start and End locations on a Find Route. I also finally found an obscure logic bug in find route that would sometimes not display the best values on a longer routes with multiple paths.

The new checkbox allows you to set an End location instead of a Start location and then check multiple start locations so that you can compare your current location route to using a recall location. You can also toggle the check and do a Find to check the reverse route in case you want to return.

Yes. I found that to be true with all of the Evendim updates.

I had to visit King's Crossing First, before it would show up in Tininduar... pretty much as expected. But then had to visit Oatbarton before the ST would show up. Same as with Brockenborings. Then the ST shows up in both directions.

Would be nice a new window with a countdown clock for travels. To see how many seconds left till the end of ride.
While its an interesting idea, TR can't detect your interaction with the stable master, so you'd have to select your location and destination in TR and then click a start-timer button at the same time as you clicked the button to start traveling. Until Turbine provides Lua with a way to at least detect your current location, I don't think its worth the effort.

Exclamation Version 1.8.2

While investigating a routing error, I found that some significant ST values were missing, so I spent a day adding as many as my highest character was qualified to use. I also found a couple of data values that had a typo in the label.

The normal destination displays will now show more travel times and the Find Route should now display better and more accurate choices.

Route cost error

I've found that when calculating a multiple step route with several alternatives, sometimes the wrong cost value is displayed. I haven't tracked down the logic error yet, but I'll post an update when its fixed.

I've added a few more ST destinations that I've found since the update and I've added a new command to find the nearest stable to a location. This will give you the direct line distance, not the actual path length that you may have to travel to get to it due to obstacles.

Exclamation Version 1.7.2

With LOTRO update 2, Evendim has gained 2 new stable locations, 2 new boat docks and several new swift travel destinations! As there are now 4 boat dock and they are no longer restricted to VIP, I've decided to add them also. There may also be destination changes for other zones, but I wanted to get the new additions out asap. If I find more changes I'll add them later.

Also, after making a 2nd account for a mule character, I noticed that some swift travel destinations are restricted to current or former subscribers. I've decided that this is a significant restriction for free players and have added support for it in TR. This restriction isn't visible to premium or VIP players, so I've only been able to check a few locations so far on my new free account and I've hidden this restriction in TR unless a player unchecks the box for having met the requirement so that there will be less clutter for players not interested in it.

LOTRO update 2 changes

While checking out the update 2 changes, I noticed that there have been some undocumented changes in the travel discounts, i.e., Oatbarton now has a Mathom Society discount!

I'll be checking several of the other stable locations and post an update soon to reflect these changes.

Even better: There are new destinations added too!
