I want to say again thank you for the Compendium, especially the last update with quest import and automatic quest completion. I can't imagine playing without this plugin as a completionist. I also use the turtle stone to stop leveling so I can do the content at the intended level. Compendium helps me figure out when I can safely start leveling again.
A gentle question regarding when we might see a content update for the last expansion? I've really missed Compendium tracking for Swanfleet and Cardolan.
Quick question about the quest import from LOTRO Companion... If I already have quests marked complete in Compendium and I perform an import will it uncheck quests not included in the import or only add checks for things included? I go through Compendium sometimes and mark off quests that I either can't do (outdated, no longer available, not for my class) or will never do (ie. raids, events I don't like, etc). If I did an import after that would those get unchecked?

Afaik they only run on windows os. Hta files have a file association with the mshta.exe utility. If their is no file association they won't launch when clicked on.
Here is an article of someone repairing their hta

I know people have been able to run lotro companion successful on Mac. I have never attempted. Here is an article in their GitHub that might help

There are several reasons why an all-in-one solution can be a bad idea.
First, plugins cater to a wide range of user tastes, providing customized functionality beyond what the game devs provide. This is an issue because one-size-fits-all won't be quite what everyone is looking for and that causes the plugin to get bloated with options and run less efficiently. Plugins are scripted, so any inefficient code becomes readily obvious, especially when it impacts frame rates or causes hitching as poorly written event handlers often do. Less options equals better performance.
Second, and the reason that AltInventory got broken up many years ago, when the Turbine/SSG devs break something in the Lua API that causes client crashes in plugins like the Equipped Items fiasco, it can take them years to fix it - the Equipped Items crash lasted over 3 years, from Feb 2011 to November 2014 before Turbine finally fixed it. The entire AltInventory plugin was unusable until I was able to locate and disable the code that triggered the crash which meant that all of the features of the entire plugin were inaccessible to users for several weeks - and back then it covered WAY more than just inventory. At that time, I decided that having so many features in a single plugin was a bad idea. It was far better for users to download several plugins if they wanted all of the features and be able to simply not load one of them if the client started causing crashes.
That said, an all-in-one database plugin is probably a good idea since the API portion is basically just for the UI so if it breaks, probably all plugins would break. In the case of Compendium, covering more data is a good thing.

The deed data hasn't been refreshed in a few years, so is a work in progress. When I get that released, I will allow import of that as well.
I'm trying to determine on direction of this as when I started there wasn't other plugins offering deeds, items, crafting information and now there are. If there is enough interest in a combined set like this was doing, I'll continue with updating the data & adding features to those older areas. If there isn't I'll probably drop them and focus on questing

An update to Deeds in this plugin would be great. As a completionist, I use the plugin to track quests and would like to do the same with Deeds.
I know there are already other plugins related to Deeds, but it would be better if I had this function in just one plugin.

Just tried out this plugin. Great stuff! It was easy to import data from the LotRO Companion.
However, it seems it did not import any deeds. Is this normal? There is a separate plugin called Deed Tracker that seems to work well for that, so maybe the deed functionality of this plugin isn't meant for tracking.

I couldn't immediately find if anyone has mentioned this so sorry if this is a duplicate.
This name is close and confusing to the LOTRO Plugin Compendium app you also wrote.
Two of us were sitting here confused for quite some time before we realised it wasn't the same.
It might be good to alter one or the other name to more easily Differentiate between them.

This plugin was my first project for LotRO (before LPC). Its hard to believe it was over 10 years ago. My thinking at the time is I would slowly add different things to "Compendium"... Quest, Items, Deeds, etc... then of course Plugin.. In hind sight, it was a dumb idea. I've seen other projects use name Compendium or similar sounding words. It didn't help that that when I stopped playing, the data on this from got out of date fast, and I assume stopped being used.. while Plugin Compendium (LPC) kept working and being used by community.
I'll consider a rebranding. I know at the time there weren't other options, but LotRO now has many other great offerings for Deeds, Items, Crafting. Perhaps I should just focus on the questing side.
What would you suggest?
