Since you have the icon enabled in the filter then something else has gone wrong on your system. The icon would show through the Berry's Deed icons since they are slightly transparent. It could have been under the "Interior Instance" icon for Sarnur, but the second one you entered was further south and would have displayed.

First, just to clear up your screen so there are fewer things to look under, turn the Berry's Deed overlay off. You can always turn it back on later but right now it is just in the way. With the deed overlay displayed I can't tell if your "Interior/Instanced" icons are even showing.

The next thing to do is to determine if the mapping to the custom PoI icon got changed/corrupted and is pointing to an invalid file. The simplest thing is to right click on the filter list entry (where the checkbox for the Custom PoI filter is) and click the pop-up "Change Icon". This will display the Icon Maintenance window (see below). Make sure that the "Custom PoI" icon is selected at the top and then click the "Reset Default" button. If there was an issue with the icon pointing to an invalid image that should fix it, let me know.

so i have the result of trying to fix it

I used the procedure you mentioned, then I turned off and on again to play the data again with the same result.
then I tried turning off the Berry's Deed Data module and the custom POI was publishable.
so the test result is that the tags from Berry's Deed Data overlap other tags on the plugin map. data from Berry's Deed Data is in the parent layer? compared to other data (brands and other info)

So it appears that you were simply trying to display too many things all at the same time. That is why Overlays can be turned off and extra Annotations (icons) can be filtered. This is working as intended.

FWIW, your second image in your original post showed coordinates of 23.2S, 102.8W which would be well south of the Berry's Deed icons and should have displayed (which it is not in your screen capture) so either you never clicked "Save" with those coordinates (in which case the image misrepresents the actual state) or there was indeed an issue with the icon not displaying which had nothing to do with the Berry's overlay. The image below shows where a custom annotation with those coordinates would have displayed if something were not wrong.



Either way, you now know that you have to hide any other elements that might be obscuring an annotation, whether that be an Overlay or other Annotations. In some areas there are many Annotations in close proximity and they will overlap making it hard to see what is buried in the pile which is why both the built-in map and MoorMap have filters for temporarily removing some of the clutter.

thank you, when I create new custom annotations, I always click on the save button at the end. the flood coordinates were 20.5S 103.4W and when I didn't see the custom POI tag at that time, I tried to move it so that the blue numbers didn't overlap with the custom POIs I created, and that was actually the first screenshots.
otherwise, when I create a custom POI, I fill in all the lines and finally press the save button.
it would not be possible to make custom POIs to always be in the parent layer above Berry's Deed Data, ie for the custom POI tag to overlap the numbers (data) of Berry's Deed Data. it's impractical to turn Berry's Deed Data module on and off just to see the custom POI I created

Edit:
  • How did you think I wanted to show too many things at once?
  • how can I turn off overlays and filter other notes, that is, if you didn't mean turning off Berry's Deed Data module

I want to ask, will you update the MoorMap and Terrain Map plugins? since now a new wildwood area has been sent out. it's about points of interest and deeds
when we could wait for these plugins to update

I will be updating MoorMap and TerrainMap as time allows. Since this is a relatively small update with only one new map, the update to MoorMap will probably be available after this weekend. TerrainMap will take slightly longer, as always.

Note, most of the terrain for TerrainMap updated automatically since the tiles in the client were re-used with very few actually replaced with new tiles and those were all in areas away from Wildwood. The majority of time spent on TerrainMap will be for new tiles that were added, most of which initially appear to be for small instanced areas that will not be on the world map (and thus not displayed in TerrainMap) but must be accounted for.

Thank you for the quick response but I still have one question about the MoorMap update. when will you update MoorMap will you include the data in Berry's Deed Data in this update? how are data about deed locations of different elites and etc.

Berry's Deed Data was compiled by Whiteberry. I only added the deed maps as overlays that Whiteberry had already published. She did all the work of determining the locations for items as well as areas to be highlighted and the relations to specific deeds. I do not have the time to allocate to collecting all of the deed data and do not play the game enough to keep deed data up to date. If another person comes forward with a good deed map that can be implemented in the way that Whiteberry's was then I may consider implementing it in MoorMap.

The Wildwood will be handled the same as prior areas that did not have Whiteberry's maps. Deed locations and NPCs are shown as Points of Interest and NPCs. Some deed related items, such as the flowers are shown as quest/deed icons (gold rings). I do not anticipate making overlays.

I mean the map or you would just need the coordinates, because I could look at it and collect this data, but only in the form of text, the second option that allows the moormap, so that you make a screen that you carefully import into the plugin, I did not understand the details

I already have the co-ordinates for exploration deeds but that is only part of the Berry Deed maps. Whiteberry spent hours determining mob density and respawn rates to find optimum locations for slayer deeds, etc. Those locations are what are most time consuming. I've considered making Overlays for just the explorer deeds, something like this:

but they seem incomplete and a bit pathetic without all the slayer deed locations. This one will probably get into the next version of MoorMap since I already spent the time to make it, but I doubt I will find the time to include the slayer deeds.

so at least in part you're already working on it. most deeds are on the wiki just not sorted by location so each deed has to be searched by deed name separately by searching so my suggestion was to search for deed names and then write off kookrdinaty. The data are mostly there from beta, but some of what I found like this so that I could fulfill the deed are correct

Hi. I recently updated Moormap using the plugin compendium. A error popup appeared stating that it could not access the Description.txt. Please help!

Sorted it! the problem appears to be connected to the compendium I manually 'installed' it and now all is well.

Glad to hear you already resolved it at your end manually, however, it is interesting that this happened. Description.txt is not a necessary file, it is only there for my reference (I'll probably move it out of the plugin folder in the future), but there should not have been any problem, especially since it shouldn't be accessed by the client so should not have been locked due to usage. I double checked the permissions and they are the same as all of the other files and it has been included in prior versions with no problem. Perhaps something odd happened to the version on your system. If this ever happens again, you can simply manually delete the version of description.txt on your system before updating and compendium should run just fine - you may then notice that it might gripe about the next .txt file if indeed there is something odd going on with permissions on your system, perhaps an over protective anti-virus or some such.
