I've started updating for Helm's Deep, while there have been worst changes to LIs in the past, a lot of legacies have been altered, and all items have been promoted to ungodly levels, so once again I have extensive changes to make. Main issue this time around is to figure out the point costs of all the new legacies, this may ultimately have to wait for Bullroarer to be open to the public at large for completeness.

I might release a somewhat incorrect version meanwhile, as in with all the new legacies and level 95 items but incorrect point costs here and there.

If anyone wants to help, I could use point costs of new legacies (any tier at rank 1 to 9) for all classes but minstrels and hunters atm. I can most of the time extrapolate all tiers from one tier.

Right, just noticed today NDA had been lifted indeed. People in beta have been writing detailed posts about each class including legacy changes, so that should save me a couple hours. Don't bother gathering data, I should be able to extract that without real LIs. Well, still probably going to need point costs at each tier though (or enough tiers to fill the gaps) for the new legacies.

I intend to. I made some major (code wise anyway ...) additions to capture LIs from, and output them to the chat, although that requires a layer of polish, and I'll upgrade to level 95.

As usual, it may take me a while though. Fairly limited time to work on side projects at the moment (and in the foreseeable future, haven't been playing in months for that matter). How soon depends if I can get onto Bullroarer or not to get data on classes I don't have at high level and how much Turbine messed up with LIs and legacies this time around.

A neat feature would be export to a text file so that we could print out our LIP information for LI's or bring it into an Excel spreadsheet

Well, they don't only get duplicated on disk, they get duplicated at run time too, meaning multiple instances of the same code get loaded and executed which further results in duplication of data and resources that are created along the way.

With the ever increasing amount of RAM present on computer and devices, I know the trend is to sandbox everything and forgo shared code other than the system framework, but hey, I started coding back when RAM was in kilobytes and CPU cycles were precious, so there's that

Quick update on the next version: Still working on it, having stumbled into yet another hole that I can only get out of by figuring out another gazillion identifiers internal to the game, which is... time consuming. Also in need of some translation help, but that'll wait I guess.

I'm going to release a version where bridles won't be possible to link or import, as well as some minor limitations or it's going to take me forever and then some to finish.

Alright, this is likely due to the following problem: LIP shares files with my other plugins (Baruk, Bootstrap, HereBeDragons), and one of those files I modified even though I shouldn't have. If another of my plugins is installed *after* LIP, that file gets overwritten with an older version, causing an error and the plugin to fail to fully initialize.

Forcing an 'update' to LIP from Plugin Compedium should solve it (Even though it will be the same version you already have, Plugin Compedium will reinstall the files).
