festival race progress bar

I don't know if it has been mentioned before or not, but in B.G.M. Opaque the festival race progress bar only displays the bar background and not the blue progress bar.

I join your observations, I just tested about 10 different map resolutions and it seems it doesn't support anymore anything than the default size of 1024x768

So I will to update the FAQ in order to suppress any hope of ability to tweak the windowed map.

Yep, tried logging out and completely restarting the game, no joy.

I tried editing a couple of your skins as well as just making my own skin that only affects the map. It just doesn't seem to want to scale. Seems to be the map itself stays at the 1024x768 while the window expands to whatever I set it to (I'm trying 1600x1200). You can tell the window is responding to the changes as the quest guide list keep pushing out and clickthrough is blocked where the window would be, albeit it is transparent since the map isn't scaled. I even tried something like 1536x1240 thinking maybe it has something to do with TGA power of 2 or something, but that still didn't work.

Head scratcher. It's okay though, I can always just go back to full screen map.

Don't forget to close and relaunch to whole game client after a change in the skindefinition file to apply the panel changes in game.

The windowed map is an unofficial tweak, it has not been designed to be handled like other panels in skins.

Aye, I did read over the FAQ. You had put in there it technically works to edit the sizes with those caveats, so I tried to edit the size keeping to a 4:3 ratio, but it doesn't seem to change the map., just the bounding box around the map (ie. the quest guide defaults to the proper edge, but the map doesn't scale up). I was just wondering if there was an element tag needed to force the scaling, since scaling does obviously work by default if you aren't editing the map element (since the map scales full screen by default).

If all we have is stretched full screen or 1024x768 as options, I'll play a bit and see if I can deal with it being so bity on my 3440x1440 display. I might be getting too old to see that small!

Resizing the main map

So I like the smaller main map, however, it's a little TOO small on an ultrawide display. I've tried editing the .xml file and changed the map size to various shades of 4:3 ratios, but it appears only the "window" is resizing - the map does not scale to the window. Is there any way to get the map to scale or is this a limitation of the game?

Hi, have a look to the theme JRR Bree C. It delivers a minimal toolbar design by turning invisible many of its elements.

Hide Toolbar

Hey,

love your work.
Is it possible to make a UI with the entire mainbar hidden? Like the toolbar? So you only see the quickslots?
I saw someone on youtube, that had it, but cant for the life of me find out how he did it :P

Hi,

a relog your character after the first time you select the skin should fix the character vital display issue.

To move down the quickslot bars (and other UI elements) you can use CTRL + * key.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. The fact is I didn't specially had the will to customize this bar as it is relatively neutral, but I'll keep it in mind when I'll start working on a new update.

Possible oversight?

I noticed that when Induction Bar Display is enabled, your target's progress bar has the default appearance. I did some digging and found out that the art asset IDs for these are "opponent_progress_overlay_center", "opponent_progress_overlay_left", and "opponent_progress_overlay_right". Adding lines into the skin definition using existing progress overlay files helped solve this problem for me.
