Much deserved.

This is a bit disappointing as I wanted to get rid of the title bit at the top of the inventory bags. <sigh> Oh well.
Thanks again.

@Earthsuit
Hi and thanks for your support
Indeed I forgot to delete this paragraph from the faq when the ability to merge the bags has been introduced in Lotro .
The customized bag codes were not functioning anymore, so I removed them from the skindefinition.xml files.
The faq is now updated, thanks for your feedback.

Inventory Bags Border
First off, thank you for these wonderful skins. Most especially all the hard work AND for maintaining the project. Thank you.
I notice that in the FAQ above you mention an interest of mine:
Quote:
- My bags have no more borders neither their title bar with the big bag icon.
This is not a bug, this is a skinning choice.
If you consider this disappointing, not handy or ugly, you can use a bags replacement plugin, as HugeBag, it is amazingly convenient and good looking !
Advanced users can choose to revert it by deleting the whole "Ultra Mini-packs" section in the skindefintion.mxl file of every skin they wanna fix, and repeat this operation after every Azure Glass update.
|
However, I find this is not a default behavior nor can I find any sections in the skindefinition files named "Ultra Mini-packs" or any variation of that.
Has this feature been changed in the latest version? Am I looking for the wrong sections?

@Elrothiel
you can edit the skindefinition.xml file of the skin you're using with any text editor, like Window's Notepad, and delete the paragraphs dedicated to the extended panels.
or
you can use the SmallBar addon for JRR skin collection. This addon contain 1 profile containing no extended panel.
There is no other easy way to change the size of most the panels without entering into the details of the code defining the panels, and there are a lot of values to modify to resize a panel.

@Elrothiel
yes it is, the corresponding files are associated to these lines :
Code:
<Mapping ArtAssetID="xpbar_blue_fill"
<Mapping ArtAssetID="xpbar_bonus_fill"
<Mapping ArtAssetID="xpbar_bonus_suppresed_fill"
<Mapping ArtAssetID="xpbar_bonusamount_fill"
<Mapping ArtAssetID="xpbar_purchasedbonusamount_fill"
<Mapping ArtAssetID="xpbar_suppressed"
<Mapping ArtAssetID="mount_xp_meter_full"
You can suppress theses lines from the Skindefinition.xml located in the Azure glass subfolder corresponding to the skin you're using to restore the xp bar default colors.

@ Teriadorn
Yes, you can.
Select Azure Glass 1x1 BGM on your character, and open its installation folder on your hard drive.
Edit its skindefinition.xml. (Find the good one, there is one skindefinition.xml file per skin)
Open it with any text editor like Wordpad or Notepad and delete all the text from :
<PanelFile ID="Toolbar"> until the line <!-- ===== End of toolbar .
Save the file, restart Lotro if it is running, you're done.

Toolbars
Is there any way to not have any of the toolbar stuff, but still have the rest of the skin? I want the character, dressing room, deed, and other stuff, but want the default toolbar menu.

@ Valanduin
Hi, to get the defaut gambit, simply delete the following lines from the skindefinition.xml file(s) from the skin(s) you use.
You can open and edit it with notepad or any else text editor.
Code:
<!-- Gambit combo name removal -->
<PanelFile ID="ID_UISkin_GamePlay_GambitBar">
<Element ID="GamePlay_GambitBar" X="710" Y="591" Width="281" Height="118">
<Element ID="GambitBar" X="0" Y="20" Width="281" Height="98">
<Element ID="GambitWindow_GambitCashout_Name" X="0" Y="0" Width="1" Height="1"> </Element>
</Element>
</Element>
</PanelFile>

Warden Gambit Panel
Dear Adra!
First of all - fantastic work, thanx a lot!
The only thing I worry about are the missing skill names at the warden gambit panel. As I am new to warden class the skill names help a lot learning things.
Is there any way to get the skill names back?
BR
Valanduin
