I'm sorry it is not working correctly. The only thing I can think of is that LPC uses microsoft .net framework. It could be that while many of the files exists, something is not quite right with .net installation. You might see if the .net framework needs reinstalled or repaired. I know microsoft has a .net repair tool that can check to make sure everything is ok. This blog on msdn referenced several good links on microsofts site (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/arc...3/8999004.aspx). Perhaps one of them can help. Good luck.
While it is not ideal, you could also try temporarily using the LPC that was written in java. It will work for windows, but doesn't have the nice installation support & windows shortcuts that get installed with normal windows based one. http://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...mMacLinux.html

Thanks for the quick reply!
I ran the repair tool and re-installed my .NET Framework 1.1 & 4.5 that were installed on my machine, without results. Just noticed the LPC requires the 3.5 version (which should be covered by 4.5, but you never know), so I'm looking at that now (but the installation setup won't do anything... *sigh*)

I encounter a strange problem ever since my desktop got nearly completely wiped by some virus... When I try to launch LPC, it immediately crashes (I don't even see it open, it just shows the classic window you always see when a program stops working properly on Windows). Re-installing it doesn't work, neither does running it as Administrator. Any suggestions?

My specs in case you need those:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II x4 965 (quad core)
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6800 series
RAM: 4GB
Software is up to date
Thanks in advance

I believe this happens when your user account does not have access to write files to the windows installation folder. Try running the installer as administrator and seeing if that solve the problem for you.

I have an issue where LPC tries to update WardenEase2 v 2.31 to version 0.5; basically it mixes up WardenEase2 and the earlier WardenEase - I already deleted the ZIP files from my temp folder, but it still has this issue. The plugincompendium file for WardenEase2 seems correct, all links in it point to the WardenEase2 page and ID on lotrointerface. I would appreciate a fix, if you need any additional info I'll be glad to help.

Lunarwater,
Would you consider making the Installed Plugins tab similar to the Add New Plugins tab? Including the divider, plugin info and website link will allow users to re-locate the webpage if they need to review any updates, plugin commands, make feature requests, or read comments.
Thanks for considering the idea.
