I had considered that, but at the time I figured it would be more than what most people would want to do. I see the button as more of a panic button if you are being chased and clicking 2 buttons didn't seem (to me) like something the average person would want to do. Obviously someone else had a similar suggestion so I will look into it.

Yes, there is many limit that the Turbine made in the LUA include you cannot read the char location only after ;loc alias. But I think that is not a big problem. Make a button with "read position". I am sure it is clear, and mutch more help the ppl. to know where is exactly the enemy. Of course if you see from distance that show you position not the enemy but that is mutch more informative than a simple coordinate (that is also your coorinate).

I hope you can use my idea and integrate into the plugin! Or if the lag gone (hehe I am always a dreamer) I go back Etten and make this idea.
Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately, I am unable to implement it at this time. I had a similar idea a few months ago and worked on it a bit. The problem is that there is not enough data available to the plugin right now. In order to implement this feature, the plugin would need to know the precise location of your character. The data that is put in OOC when you activate the send button is actually filled in by the game (it uses the "pos:" macro). The only way to get that data would be to read that output and have the user hit send again which would end up being very confusing and lead to problems. I already have the code written to do what you suggest (distance and direction from a zone/district of the moors) and if Turbine ever makes position data available to plugins, I'd be more than happy to make this work.

Sorry it's not the news you wanted to hear but the data available to plugins isn't a lot and we have to work inside those bounds.

Sorry about the long delay on this comment, but I normally get an email when a new comment appears.

Normally this message appears when a file is missing or corrupt. I would check the installation folder to ensure that the following files are all present at the same level:

__init__.lua
Main.lua
PvMP+.plugin

There will also be 15 other .lua files and 3 directories at this level. The error is coming out of attempting to load the .plugin file and running into an error loading up the Main.lua file which is the base class for everything.

Ill try to check back more often in case I don't get another email from your response.

Problem with a mac bug.

So ive been wanting to get this plugin for quite sometime, so I finally did. I run LOTRO on a mac so i had to do a different process of installing the plugins, but once that was done i went into the game attempted to load the plugins and i got this message. Unable to resolve package "PvMP_Plus.Main". Please leave some feedback on how i can fix this problem.

There are character-specific plugindata-files, server-specific plugindata-files and maybe even a account-sepecific plugindata-file. Check if you deleted the correct one (the path should be given in the error message as far as I know)

PVMP+ doesn't load

I get the "unable to parse file" and "unexpected symbol" message and have tried to solutions posted. Deleting the PvMP_Plus.Plugindata file, and renaming the other two and it still won't work. It will work on all of my other toons, just not a particular one. I'm at a loss with what to do. I've even tried downloading the most recent 2.9 PvMP and installing that, but the samething happens. It will work on all toons except one. Any ideas?

I believe I have corrected the problem. I rarely ever resize my bar and never noticed this (oops). I added in some code to resize the icons anytime the resize feature is used and it seems to be working. When version 2.9 is up, feel free to download it and try it again.

There is some graphical problem with the new buff ikons when you resize the bar. So I downgrade -2 version

I am aware of this, another user also mentioned it. This is due to the fact that Turbine finally fixed the spelling of the word Rhaw in the buff bar which is where PvMP+ gets all of its information. Look for an update in the next few days.

I don't know if it is just me but TR always remains blue and on left hand side even if creeps have control of it.
All the other keeps seem to work correctly.

That's great thanks , having a simple "export data" and "Import data" button would be excellent .That way I can use my desktop as my main machine and simply export from my laptops and then sync to my desktop .

Appreciate your efforts here and an excellent plugin !!! Any chance we could have a few more expressions on a kill other than "Bazinga" , perhaps we could edit it and have our own ?
I finally got around to looking at the import/export idea and there is a problem. The only directory that can be written to by the plugin is where the data is already stored, so I wouldn't be able to make a change that allowed you to publish a merge file on your desktop. The only way to do this is to manually move your .plugindata file between the 2 computers as you swap around. Wish I could have done more, but I am limited in what I can do by the plugin API.

As for the kill message, I plan on getting that changed soon. Ill probably have some default words and then let the user add some if they want. I am hoping to get that out shortly as there is another bug I have to fix after the update.

I have seen this from time to time and I don't know what causes. The best thing to do is to just reload the plugin through the plugin manager. That seems to clear it up.

The only issue I have seen is with TR not being assigned correctly all the time as they finally corrected the spelling in the buff bar. Its hard to test beyond that as the creeps have been controlling the moors almost exclusively the last couple of days since the update.

I have corrected the spelling error and I plan on releasing a fix sometime soon (with another feature , I just want to wait a couple of days in case others have issues after the update.

If anyone has more info or has noticed something specific, just reply to this with what you're seeing.
