Hello, Garan! Have you now alternative tiles for missing tiles in Eriador? I working for atlas of Middle-Earth based on your terrain maps. I need this tiles.
P.S.: Is game-compass map of this places true?

I'm waiting for Turbine to fix a couple that are still invalid - the compass shows the wrong image, particularly the tile just north of Michel Delving on the way to Little Delving. Hopefully they will all be fixed in the next game update so I can publish a new version shortly after.

To create one image showing all world map of game in the maximum scale (x1) it is impossible?

I have done it. Manually [with TerrainMap]

Just Eriador alone is over 30 000 x 30 000, compressed PNG 495 MB
+5.44GB RAM when opened in Windows Viewer

-JPEG "lossless" is about 280MB but i cant open it in win7

for all world [1:1] i would need far more then 16 GB of RAM to process and combine together and whos know what format [Win32GDI memory/pixel limit] would suport such huge image. [PNG limit is 2GB]

im also such masochist that i have combined Earth [bing maps, MapCatcher] into 32K image

is that naw zone for future update?

Hi,

There are two small areas in northern Rhovanion. The first, the smaller area nearer the center of the map is Grimbeorn's Cabin, the home area for Beorning characters. The second, in the top right corner is the area around Dale and the Lonely Mountain which is used by instances, "The Bells of Dale", "Flight to the Lonely Mountain", "The Fires of Smaug", and "The Battle for Erebor" IIRC.

The plugin map is the result of many hundreds, if not thousands (keeping track would probably depress me ), hours of work including three plugins, IRV for identifying image resources, MapMaker for keeping track of the terrain resources and placing them in a map, and finally, TerrainMap for displaying the resulting map. Oh, and MoorMap for the data files used in the Search feature. While IRV was previously published, I have not published the latest updates with special features that I use to export the list of terrain tiles and I don't expect to ever publish MapMaker as it is used exclusively to piece together the map and the pre-zoomed tiles displayed by TerrainMap but serves no other purpose (and the UI is very crude and ugly). Due to phasing (changing the terrain based on story events) and instances, there are many versions of some of the tiles as well as many tiles that represent outlying areas that are only roughly generated or for future expansion. Due to bugs in the client there are even periodically tiles that are in the wrong location or completely missing. Thus the comment in the plugin description that this is "a 26 thousand piece jigsaw puzzle where not all pieces are guaranteed to exist, some pieces are covered in crayon and others are duplicates". FWIW, while it would be much quicker to obtain the images and quite probably their positions within the map directly from the .dat files, that would be a significant violation of the EULA (read the bit about reverse engineering) and I don't plan on losing my lifetime VIP accounts by irking Turbine (it's a thin line and I tend to get pretty close to the edge sometimes but strive to never step over).

As to Mordor (region 4), both MoorMap and TerrainMap will be updated for U19 sometime soon. I have already pieced together all of the explorable map tiles for Mordor (as well as a bunch of the "artist markup" tiles showing the part of the world Turbine's world builders have started work on). Over 5500 new tiles in all but a bunch are Eastern Gondor "after the battle" tiles. I won't be publishing it until I get a chance to actually explore the region and verify coordinates and capture default data points. Unfortunately, I hadn't been playing for quite a while so my main character won't be exploring North Ithilien for a couple of weeks yet, so hopefully by the end of the month.

Region 4, Mordor, is now available along with default annotations for Update 19.

While in-game coordinates are contiguous with Region 3 (region 4 uses the same NS/EW coordinates with different boundaries), I chose not to simply expand the map as one large map since there are a couple of small but noticeable terrain differences in the two versions, particularly near the river bank that would have made the seam very obvious. Additionally, the annotations are different depending on which region you are looking at and there was no good way to reconcile that. So, I chose to display region 4 as a distinct map even though an enterprising individual could line up the tiles with region 3 to make a contiguous map (I would recommend making the seam along the middle of the river so that the discrepancies are less obvious.
