Talking Thats Just Superb!!

@ shirlzknight

Hi, and thanks for the feedback !

All the skins embedded in the main JRR pack (not the addons) are already compliant with the switching toolbar system from the Rohan expansion, at the exception of delving hills short and monsters lair short.

I will work to fix the other toolbars when Turbine will publish the new User Interface source codes, probably on the october 15th.

Hey that's great as soon as I read this I logged into bullroarer and yea there all working fine. Just like to say thanks again, I find it hard to believe so many players in my kinship use the standard U.I. and are reluctant to try these..there loss huh!!?
I'm about to have a look round the site as im leveling a minstrel ATM and have heard there is a good plug-in for them.
Regards & keep up the fantastic work

Bravo!

Just wanted to say 'Thanks' for the update, I had been hoping for one for a while but had began to give up hope!( I just checked back here on the off chance during the down time) The revised skins work a treat and I'm glad to be enjoying the skins with the extra bag slot included! Once again many thanks for your hard work!
One quick question having been involved in beta I see there is to be a multi skill bar (one for offence, defence and mounted) have you any plans to update your skin pack with this addition?
Thanks again

@ Lotor

Hi and thx for feedback.

This isn't a bug, this is the original design as its original author (Brygard) drawn it for BGM.

I must confess I felt myself a bit disappointed with this panel
and I had an hesitation about keeping it as it or not.
From your comment, I will make it less disapointing in the next JRR update (planned for Riders of Rohan expansion release).

JRR BGM

Using JRR BGM currently & since your last update I have encountered a problem with the travel vendor window, where it lists the connected travel points the top half is light grey over everything, & the bottom half is the correct hue. I can send you a screenshot if you want/need.

I you are already 1920 width, you have nothing to edit.
Just relog your character after selecting the skin.

@ Ghormyr

Hi,

There are 2 kinds of "short toolbars" skins in the JRR main pack :

- "Delving hills *short*" and "Monsters Lair *short*" have a special custom toolbar code which requires the user to adjust a value in their corresponding skindefinition.xml file to adapt the toolbar position to the user's screen resolution. (Except if your resolution is 1920 pixels width)
After editing the skindefinition.xml file (with notepad or any else text editor), the game must be closed and relaunched if it was running, and then the character must be re-logged after selecting the skin for the first time.
Additional information about the value to edit is logged in the skindefinition.xml file itself.

- The others *short* skin profiles featured in the JRR main pack are simply standard toolbars with invisible parts and buttons turned invisible too.
This means you have nothing to edit to use it, but their xp bar has the regular size, and the store button as well as the menu button stay located at the default place.
Some button icons cannot be turned invisible yet, for example the plugin manager, the instance finder and the lotro store "single coin" icon.
To bypass this problem, open the option panel in Lotro, in "UI settings" tab, allocate another function to the rebel buttons ^^

JRR and its addons are updated to v4.0 Major updates 09/11/2012

- Major update, please manually delete any previous installations of JRR and its addons before installing v4.

- JRR and its addons are now supporting update softwares.
Here is more information about MMOUI Minion update software.

- An important folder reorganization was proceed to make this possible :
  • The zip file internal folders structure has changed, no more "path finder" helping folders.
  • "JRR V2" main folder is renamed "JRR Skins collection".
  • The downloadable addons are no more installed inside the JRR main folder, but beside, like on this caption :
  • Except these points, the regular "manual" installation/update processes remain unchanged.

- Bugfix : I Disabled the instance finder customizations code to solve an issue concerning its resizing capabilities.
The reason is a recent lotro update (7.3.1 I guess), which secretly introduced a new version of the Instance finder panel code, featured until now on Bullroarer.

- Other skins contents are almost the same than in JRR v3.4b

You're welcome

I'm glad your issue is solved !

And yes, it's always safer to delete any previous installation of skins/addons/plugins to avoid any conflict.

Just one other thing, would you suggest taking/deleting all the old ones I have in there before adding the new ones?

Thanks again
