Deed Map Overlays

HI, really love your plugin. I'm fairly new to lotro and find it very very useful. I'm a bit stuck on the whiteberry overlays. I have the latest version installed but none of the previous advice seems appropriate, there is no overlay text to click and nothing comes up on the MOria maps even when I click on the overlay options button. Would really appreciate your help as together the map and the overlay would be absolutely perfect!

If any of the components do no show when you use /plugins list (or do not show in the Plugin Manager window) then they were not unzipped to the correct folder. I recommend using Lunarwater's Plugin Compendium application to install plugins to avoid installation errors. Plugin Compendium is available for Windows and Mac/Linux.
Windows:
http://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...ompendium.html

Mac/Linux:
http://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...mMacLinux.html

If you are already using Plugin Compendium and still having problems let me know.

I was thinking it would lay a breadcrumb type trail to the location i want. Either on the map or in the world. I have looked in your descrip but can't seem to find it.
Thank you in advance for any help in this matter. BTW your plugin is off the hook AMAZING I followed your instructions and had it up and running in less than one minute. It is people like yourself that make this game so much more awesome :-)

Regards from a fan for life.

Edited :- I had a brainfreeze moment my apologies I control f'd the page and typed in breadcrumbs chose show all and hey wouldn't you know, there it was explained in the version details lol thanks again for an amazing plugin .
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you found the Breadcrumbs usage info. I really need to update the Usage section as there are a lot of features like Breadcrumbs and Berry's Deed overlays that are only described in the version info. What I really need to do is add a help system/tutorial but that would require me not getting distracted ever fe... ooh! a shiny...

Ver 1.25 is just a bug fix for those encountering the load error on line 1726. If you have not experienced this bug, you do not need to download ver 1.25 as that was the only change.

I apologize for taking so long to publish what should have been a rather quick bug fix - I got inundated with RL issues and had to put testing on hold but things are more or less back on track.

the Rings Online\Plugins\GaranStuff\MoorMap\Main.lua:1726: attempt to index global 'BDD' (a nil value)... Is there a way to fix? I really love this plugins and would love to be able to use it again.
I believe I know what is happening for you but I would like to confirm this. I will send a PM to you on this forum with further instructions.

EDIT:
With Strider5577's assistance I have replicated the corrupted file that led to this error message and I am currently investigating the cause of the original corruption. It seems that the number of people affected by this should be extremely limited but I am still working to get a bug fix available ASAP.

It looks as though the plugin did not properly update after the new version was loaded. Please check each of the steps below and respond with the results for each step.

1) First, please check that you do not have any of the other moormap plugins (MoorMap Defaults, MoorMap Loader or MoorMap Terminator) set to autoload. This would prevent the automatic update from working correctly.

2) Could you please try opening the Helm's Deep map and see if the default annotations display? If there are no annotations then you either do not have version 1.23 properly installed or the update did not run correctly.

3) Try reloading the default annotations manually from the Annotation Maintenance window. Load MoorMap. Right click on the map and select "Add Annotation". At the bottom of the Annotation Maintenance window, click the "Reload Defaults" button. Unload Moormap using the "/plugins unload moormap" chat command. Reload MoorMap using the "/plugins load moormap" chat command. You should now have "Select Overlay" on the Breeland map.

4) Assuming the above steps did not resolve the problem, could you please look up your copy of the main.lua file from the MoorMap plugin folder and tell me the Size and Date Modified of the file?

Lastly, how did you upgrade to 1.23, manually unzipping the files or using Lunarwater's Plugin Compendium? I need to try to reproduce the steps you took in updating to reproduce the conditions that led up to your issue.

You have to enable the Waypoint integration on the Options panel. Click the gear icon on the top left of MoorMap to open the Options panel. Scroll to the bottom of the options, the second to last option is "Enable Waypoint". After checking the Enable Waypoint options, click "Save". If you are not automatically running Waypoint, you may have to change maps to initially start Waypoint.

Now, hover over an annotation (do not click the annotation itself) to display the pop-up menu with the annotation name and coordinates. Then click on the coordinates in the popup menu to activate Waypoint.

Note: If you accidentally click on the annotation instead of hovering, you will get a window with the name in the title bar, coordinates and description in the window - those coordinates will NOT activate Waypoint, only the coordinates in the popup menu from hovering over an annotation will activate Waypoint.

The Overlays for Whiteberry's Deed Maps are already included and defined. Just down load ver 1.23 of MoorMap and you're all set. If a map has a defined Overlay (Whiteberry's or any other), the words "Select Overlay" will appear at the top of the screen (if your map is wide enough it will be at the top right but if your map is sized smaller it may get wrapped to the left side just below the Options button). All you have to do is move the mouse over "Select Overlay" and the list of defined Overlays for that map will be shown. Click the check box next to an Overlay to display it or uncheck the box to hide it.

So, if you've downloaded 1.23 and you are not seeing "Select Overlay" then the currently displayed map does not have a Deed Overlay (or any other Overlay). Just select one of the maps that does have an Overlay such as Breeland or any of the Moria maps (the list and Whiteberry's original maps are at http://toarda.com/guides/deed-location-maps/ )

Do I download the individual maps as .jpgs and just drop them in the overlays folder? Because that didn't work for me.

Please and thank you!
