Get wiser with your store spending habits by learning the true cost of an item.

The LotRO store works by players purchasing items through a middle currency, which can make it hard to determine the true cost of an item and whether it offers good value for money or not.

This plugin is very simple to use, and helps calculate the real-world cost of a store/mithril item. It does this in three main currencies – EUR, GBP and USD. It will tell you how many VIP months would be needed (if applicable), the cheapest points bundle you would need to be able to buy the item, and the relative cost of the item in your selected currency.

The cost of the item is given in two ways:

1. The cost relative to the cheapest points package you would need to buy in order to complete the purchase. You may have plenty of points but only need a small top up, in which case the cost is calculated on the smallest package.
2. The cost relative to the cheapest points package closest to the full cost of the item (this would be the package needed if you had no points at all so gives a more accurate representation).

By seeing the real-world cost of an item you can make an informed decision about the value offered in the store for each item, and hopefully feel more confident in how you spend your points.
