´Whenever ill try to load the german BusBeeTasks it wont work and ill get Errors. I have try to copy the entrys in the normal...try to save it as a lua....nothing work

Just a reminder that there are (almost always) updated files to be pulled from hdro-guide.de, links are a few posts below.
They are available in French, German and English - though the latter is merely of use when you want the compressed version that packs all boards of a region into one entry. German is tested, french I am trying to make sure it works although since it's only a mostly forgotten second language, there may be issues. Je suis desolée, mes amis  |

The tasks I've found so far in the new regions coming with U23.
I'm rather lazy, and since regions nowadays have the same task items at every board, I just add one of the places. Copy-paste and change after "place =" if you want to add more. Important - The task number ID have to be in order, so if you BusyBeeTasks.lua ends with another number then change after adding. Recommend to make a backup of the file first. No patches allowed ...
So I wanted to share a pack of updated item files, especially for french and german, but upload of patches is not allowed - insert sad panda face here.
Anyway, unless this violates whatever rule, feel free to grab them data here: [DE] BusyBee.ger.lua [FR] BusyBee.fra.lua [EN] BusyBee.eng.lua It's a simple script, you'll have to copy'pasta the output into whatever file you want to create/update. Data is compiled from lotro-wiki and the original BusyBee data, missing french and german names by checking with the task boards in game. Now my french is pretty rusted, I might have messed up on the singular/plural here and there (I did the item names starting past 105, I think). I tried to group as much as possible to reduce the amount of output in the windows, even grouped Moria by the taskboards. @elsinir: I hope that's okay for you, if you want any of the data in a different form to help with your files just let me know, if you don't want this posted here, just hit me up and it'll be gone. Zee german?
I just tried to set BusyBee to german with the included german lua item file, and it doens't work due to the fact that the file differs so greatly from the required form (taking the english one as reference)
Now chances are this was made with a different version of BusyBee in mind, actually using these fields, be it older or newer, and the german translation might have changed (curse the creators (Turbine?) for not using numeric item ids in the first place making it all so complicated for mod authors), but still, it is not usable with current 1.3.16 at all. I imported the excel file to SQL and wrote an export function to make things work, just to realize things end at level 75 there. Anybody got more complete data? |

Making the background opaque is trivial. Changing the font size is more involved, because there are multiple different headings, and it affects button sizes, window layout, etc.
To make the background opaque, you can use your favorite text file editor (e.g. Notepad++) to edit the file BusyBeeWindow.lua. At line 117 in the file, you will find local WindowColorParams = {base = 40.0, low = -8, high = 20, R = 0.0, G = 0.0, B = 0.0 };You just need to change the high value to 40: local WindowColorParams = {base = 40.0, low = -8, high = 40, R = 0.0, G = 0.0, B = 0.0 }; Last edited by Thurallor : 06-28-2018 at 05:59 PM. |

Love this plugin and use it religiously but was hoping somebody could help me with some configuration issues.
Due to some vision problems I'm hoping to be able to make the background fully opaque and/or the font size larger. There doesn't appear to be any command line option to do either of these things that I can see. Is there anyway I can edit the file easily to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
